Arturo Vidal and Luca Marrone delighted over 300 Bianconeri fans this evening by attending a dinner organised by Juventus Club Doc Moncalieri. The event, which took place at the ‘La Darsena’ restaurant, gave supporters the opportunity to meet their idols in person.
After dinner, the Chilean midfielder commented on Juve’s season, taking the opportunity to refute suggestions that the Bianconeri were not currently firing on all cylinders.
“I don’t agree,” responded Vidal. “This team is strong in every area and doesn’t seem tired at all. Who do I fear most out of Inter and Milan? I don’t look at the others, I purely focus on Juventus because I support us… As the manager says, we’ll remain focused on ourselves and the next game.”
Vidal concluded by expressing his shock at a recent video distributed on the internet concerning his successfully converted penalty against Cesena.
“The whole uproar has really surprised me,” explained the 24-year-old. “A player should only think about the game, and I couldn’t believe that such controversy could come from a penalty. I didn’t know Rodriguez before the game, and I don’t know what I’ve got to do with all this, seeing as I simply struck a penalty.”
