"The strategy of #Osimhen was to get within the release clause territory at €75M which is for abroad until 15/07, to let the clause expire and then bring #Juventus into play that has always been on his mind. A possible alternative is #Retegui, but he costs €60M."

Gyokeres's 60 mill release clause is active but they are looking at Retegui lol
Doesn't seem that the Gyokeres situation is as simple as that. They can still reject any bid of 60m+, player's agent can claim a percentage of the fee bid, Sporting can still be silly fuckers and demand more and more to claw back what they have lost. It becomes a bit farcical situation with both parties losing.

It's not some FM situation where you bid 60m and he can talk to us.

I'm totally aware of the situation. The real problem is the verbal agreement they had to let him go for €60m plus bonuses. Sporting are now acting like it never existed, and that’s what’s causing all the chaos. The agent stuff just adds fuel, but it’s Sporting making this way more complicated than it should be.

This guy is great & all but what about our defence?

It's not just that they're kinda shit but we also lack a defence that can actually play under pressure

If we're going for this 3421 looking formation we can't have 1 of our 2 CMs dropping back to get the ball every time. It was comical Vs Madrid seeing us turn into some lopsided 4/6ATB monstrosity with Thuram the only midfielder left

And thats against a Madrid team who couldn't be bothered pressing us properly half the time.

I don't think he's gonna be banging in goals from our half way line

The Osimhen track rumored there seems like a plan we might very well be pursuing however the Retegui one looks more like a panic alternative that we likely won’t entertain for that price, more so that it’s Atalanta involved and we’ve already only just got scammed by them last summer.

Gyokeres doesnt have the clause, he had verbal agreement with previous mgmt that he can leave for that sum. An agreement that the new mgmt doesnt seem to respect. That is the problem and that is the reason he didnt join Arsenal yet.
That 60m price tag on Retegui though ... lmao in what worl we are living. I wouldnt spend more than 30m on this guy.

Galatasaray have sent initial bid for Victor Osimhen for €50m plus €5m… while Napoli want more.

Osimhen, keen in return to Gala but deal depends on club to club talks.

Al Hilal remain involved in race with plan to pay €75m clause but no agreement with Victor yet.
