face it guys, we can't afford him. We're going to have to either discover a world class player or breed one ourselves.
Bullshit....we can afford him but our board don't want him. I keep hearing people saying juve can't afford this guy or that guy remember guys we R Juve. In 2005 juve had a t.v revenue= 172 million euros more than any club in italy and third highest in europe, even after calciopoli juve still r generating huge revenues every year. The problem is how does our board use this money. we've spent 73 million euros on signing players last summer and this mid-season and what did we get in return (taking out sissoko and iaquinta)=nothing....If we argubly say that juve r in deep shit and we have a very tight budget for this summer lets say 30 million euros, we're most likely gonna sell both tiago and almiron their value combined might = 15 million (though we bought them for 22 millions). Thats 45 million euros in our transfer budget (vdv=20 million, amauri=12 million +players) and still we will be left with 13 million euros .......So we can afford him and even diego (who IMO would cost 25-30 max). Our biggest problem is that we don't have a guy brave enough to spend 25 or 30 mil on one world class player that can have a big impact in the team :faq1:

Exactly .. the board should know what they need and limit it in worldclass players cause we lack in two positions defense and midfield , we need in the defense CB , LB and in the midfield CM or CAM or both, we can add too a striker .
I can't imagine molinaro playin' CL next year, i think we can buy and don't sell players too . we can buy and pay alot of money but it seems that they are afraid to buy worldclass players and fall apart .

We have Marchisio and Seba...our youth. But stupid board are afraid to create wc players of them.
They are quality and will be worldclass players soon . but we need experience beside the youth to make it perfect . like always said we should take MAN UTD as an example of making a perfect team. and we have the money and the youth players..

Van der Vaart said recently that last winter he was close to a transfer to Juventus and that it was not because of himself that it fell through, but that the negotiating clubs couldn't get to an agreement, because HSV wanted too much money for him. And that now there's hardly any contact anymore with Juventus.
He still does prefer to play in Spain, but doesn't regret that a transfer to Valencia didn't happen either, because of their dramatic season and Koeman being there at the time, who he had not very good relations with at Ajax.

I think that this thread is going nowhere as even if VDV and Hamburg offer VDV to us we won`t take him

VDV is a very good player but he has no where in our current formation as he is too offensive to play CM or LM and in attack he is simply not the player to bring so he simply doesn`t fit
