Good teams have world class depth, absolutely.

However, Juventus is on a budget and needs to cultivate WC depth as well.

I simply meant that buying both Diego and VDV wouldn't be a good idea, since it would mean little to no money left to improve the defense. Even with VDV and Diego... with that current defense, and a likely injury, they will be battling for 3rd again anyway.

Diego can coexist with Giovinco and Palladino as he brings a completely new aspect to the game... VDV is too similar.
well said.

Why is he too similar? IMO he is a lot more versatile than Diego, he can play in a variety of positions both in midfield as in attack, so actually for him it's easier to coexist next to Gio and Palla. There is always room : CM, LW, RW, Support Striker...

Hello Frank, I hope he isnt so injury prone, but in my opinion, he's an all round kinda player, plus hes got experience and is usually level headed. Hes been there so he knows how it feels. I think he'll be the new Zidane in Juve cos he never seems to shy away from responsibilities, and he owns up. I dont like the idea of siging Diego, yes hes great no doubt, but Juve is supposed to be about control, efficiency and classic beauty. One day we might change, but this is how I like my Juve. I think VDV will fulfill his and our dreams and aspirations if he does come. Am sick and tierd of Secco Dumbo. Somebody tell him to sack himself and bring in VDV.

Diego is so unrealistic for us as the bigger clubs all want him.

VDV would be a suitable replacement for Nedved and with Giovinco hopefully joining as well, it will give us some needed creativity when moving forward.

I have concerns about Camoranesi's body these days. He is in his 30's and keeps on getting injured. His body is only going to go downhill from here. Hence, another reason why I think we need both VDV and Giovinco....we also have Palladino who is quite handy when moving forward. Back up in Del Piero and Iaquinta as well and we'll have a mighty fine attacking froup of players.

Koeman stated that he wants VDV in Valencia no matter what.Chel$ki also want him.
Let Koeman take VDV .. we ask for Vicente

and then buy Hamsik as well ...

Vicente in fomr is fucking rediculous. plus if we can convince NEdved to keep playing and have Giovinco and Camo we would be set for attacking mids.

I would play:

DP/Palla----Trez/Iaquinta

Vicente--Nedved/Giovinco---Camo

------Zanetti/Hamisik-----Sissoko/Hamsik----

--Chiellini------Leggro-----Andrade----

-------------Buffon-----------------

playing 3 cb's would be good.. esp if we sign Barzagli
and 2 tenacious cm's to protect them. We can do this with or without signing Hamsik.. i think we would only need Hamsik if Nedved did not continue

then our mid could be:

Vicente---Hamsik---Camo

-------Zanetti------Momo---

i like that
