Actually siging VDV won't really affect Giovinco's development now that I think about it since VDV will be spending most of his time next to Marchionni on the injury table.
Even with half of the time on the injury table he is more useful than Lampard.

This is the first player to publicly admit wanting to join us, this shows a lot, you can tell with the Capello and England situation too. Neddy must have said something as Rafael was a player, who Pavel talked to in the summer about Juve, and he seems convinced. Therefore, we must turn allour attentions on just finalizing the deal out. I hope Secco's inexperience with dealing with transfer doesn't hamper the situation which were in right now, as we in the ideal position ahead of all suitors who want VDV at their club.

Ohh , so that is too long , but i would rather to take him in the next summer as long as his price still reasonable for our current financial status , maybe around 10 - 12 millions
Small chance VDV will depart HSV for less than 25 million euro's.
Seeing as HSV has rejected a 24 million euro's bid from Valencia last summer just before the transfer deadline. And he will most definitely not leave for 10-12 million. Heck, that is the amount HSV is offering VDV as a basic wage (sort to speak), Juve will have to cough up at least double the amount.

not necessarily. he has to leave this summer because of a clause in his contract. if they don't sell him this summer then he can leave for 1M next summer. this drops his value, but i don't know what his real market value is now. however if there starts a bidding war for him between different clubs then we can obviously forget it.

I think his price range will be around 18-24 million euro's.
But if we are able to throw in Almiron as part of the deal, I think we'll have to dish out about 15. Totally worth it might I add.
or we could use Giovinco who is as good as him and pay nothing!
The only one worth the cash is Diego

Hell no he is as good as vdV (yet). He has 8 years experience on the highest level, numerous personal and team awards and about 50 caps for the Dutch NT at the age of 24! Are you serious?
And if Diego is worth the cash, so is vdV who I actually rate higher then Diego.

Hamburg star Rafael Van der Vaart claims Juventus are interested in signing him and that he would be interested in a move to Italy.

Van der Vaart is thought to be keen on leaving Hamburg with a number of clubs expressing an interest in his services.

The Dutch international admits he would consider any approach from Juventus as he weighs up his options.

"I will only leave for a big club, like Juventus for example," Van der Vaart told Voetbal International.

"I know that they are interested and if the Bianconeri were to make me a concrete offer, I would consider it very carefully. I think that Hamburg would be ready to discuss terms with them."

That theory would apply if Juve were the only party interested in VDV. And if HSV were desperate to offload VDV, that is also not the case. Not as you might know Valencia, Chelsea, Inter all have shown interest.
