He is more than good enough and i think he's ready.
We'll get the answer on "is he ready" question in a month at most because Malesani finally gave him a chance to start the matches (and we've seen what happened. 2:1 against us and 4:1 trashing of Cagliari).
The only thing he needs to be ready is his confidence. He's getting more and more confident from what i could've seen. In a month or two his confidence should be sky high.

are you sure becoz every1 thaught that criscto was also ready in the summer and see now what happend to him.....i mean we should give him chance but i dont think he is ready for start 11...

and i hope VDV dont this with while he is with us
:D

and ireally want him at juve ASP...

Injuries happen and depth is incredibly important when a team is competing in essentially three competitions... CL, Liga and Coppa.

I'd feel a lot better having both VDV and Giovinco. This way, the weight of the world isn't on his shoulders yet. If Giovinco stumbles out of the gate, there is still VDV and Giovinco can play lesser games to improve.

I never thought Criscito was ready and i'm sure many here thought the same. Apart from Badass devil and few more no-one thought Criscito was ready to take over the defense.

Giovinco is something else. He learnt how it is when the team depends on you (Italian u21) and he's slowly but certainly taking the commanding role in Empoli's midfield.
The kid is special and he'll do great when we'll give him the chance.
Just my feeling though, but i think i'm not wrong about this. Giovinco will be a champion.
Just look at (and hear) how Empoli fans react when he'll touch the ball. How Italians react when he has the ball when he plays for u21. People feel he is special kind of player. The same kind like Baggio, Totti and Del Piero. And this kind of players were ready to step up when they were very young, just like Giovinco is now.

Just wait and watch ;)

I still think that we could use van der Vaart along with Giovinco. Just because we already have the latter ready to take a major role at Juventus doesn't mean we couldn't field him along with van der Vaart at the same time, with the Dutchman playing as a support striker and Giovinco playing just slightly behind him. That just sounds mouthwatering. We have lacked so much creativity lately that we could really use both of these players..

Actually siging VDV won't really affect Giovinco's development now that I think about it since VDV will be spending most of his time next to Marchionni on the injury table.

Hehehe, thats was random azzurri, take a chill pill amigo :scarf:

Btw, are you a mod? :D It sounds like you are threatening with a ban because of your mood swings ;)

Btw, whoever said Giovinco cant play Left attacking mid behind one striker, he can. Its the position he has been subbed in for alot in Empoli and the one he plays for Azzurrini..ö

The only way to play both VdV and Giovinco is if we use the Christmass tree, kinda like what Milan played in CL last year or France played at the world cup.
But in that case, even though we'll have VDV and Giovinco where they'll be most usefull (they work better behind the striker, not as wingers), we lose both Del Piero and Iaquinta and we lose Camoranesi on the wings and we'll have to play him in the same line with Nocerino and Zanetti. Plus we'll need much bigger contribution from the full backs in attack.

........Camoranesi-Nocerino-Zanetti.....
...........Van der Vaart- Giovinco.......
......................Trezeguet...............
See, now that is fucking superb.

I'm not threating anyone here. He has to lay back and get off me just like the case with other posters [m_elayyan for one]

I'm not threating, so try not to predict alot.
