The last time someone did the same thing with the players who were surely going to sign with us -> http://www.juventuz.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1231885&postcount=1458

I'll hold you responsibile if we don't sign vdV :D
Unfortunately i'm sure that VDV will be another Milito saga.. First, i wouldnt take anything he says to heart as he has said he would firstly love to play for Real Madrid, then Valencia, then any of the top 4 premiership teams & now finally us.. Secondly i doubt very much we can succeed in final negotiations.. his price will not be the 15million as mentioned as Hamburg will hold us to ransom by fishing in the spanish & english league and drive up his price and as soon as that happens Secco will wet his pants n forget about it.. i hope im wrong:xfinger:

Ujfalusi: Juve closing on VDV
Friday 28 December, 2007

Fiorentina ace Tomas Ujfalusi is sure that Rafael Van Der Vaart will play for Juventus next season.

According to the Czech defender the Bianconeri will sign the Dutchman from Hamburg in June.

Ujfalusi played for the German outfit until 2004 before his £5m move to Fiorentina and he is still in contact with officials at his former club.

“Juve will sign Rafael. The Bianconeri want him for this summer, and I’m sure it will happen because when Juve want a player, they get him.” confessed Ujfalusi to the German newspaper Bild.

The former Ajax star has had a great season in the Bundesliga so far. He has scored nine goals in lifting Hamburg to third position.

“Rafael could help the Bianconeri a lot because they need a creative player,” added Ujfalusi.

“The Turin club will also sign two defenders and a striker.” he concluded.

The Fiorentina defender will be a free agent in January and it is possible that the Old Lady will try to get him too. It has not been confirmed yet whether the Czech would be happy to leave the Viola though.

However, Juventus are not the only ones chasing VDV. Milan, Bayern and Inter are also interested in the Dutch starlet.

Meanwhile, Juventus’ targets Luca Cigarini and Daniele Dessena are not for sale claimed the players agent Giovanni Bia.

“Juventus, Milan and Inter want them, but it will be hard to sign Cigarini and Dessena this summer. Parma President Tommaso Ghirardi wants to build a competitive side with them,” revealed Bia.

I like him as a player but I have a problem with his personality. Ok he wants to leave HSV, he has already declared his love for Real then Valencia and now Juve what's next... Barca???
I can understand he wants to leave that shit-hole-no offence- but to tell the world you love another team every couple of months? Don't forget he left Ajax with the same turmoil.
Good player, bad attitude
I prefer Diego

Is Ujfalusi our new Secco or what??

He knows about our plans more than Gigli.
i wouldnt be suprised, sometimes i wonder about old Gigli.. Sounds like Uj is keen on Juve himself and if i were to Secco i wouldnt hesitate on getting him for free, hopefully Secco thinks alike

not really, just because gigli hasnt said anything doesnt make him naive to our plans or who we are going to sign. just ujfalisi has just blabbed out something whic i hope is true. so gigli or secco must have something to do with this news.

I remember Ujfalusi from Euro 2004 and IMO he is one of the most solid CBs in the world today, but not too hyped because he hasn't won a major trophy yet. Having him, Andrade and Chiellini as CBs looks very solid, so I think he would be a good addition to the squad.

Ujfalusi is a cracking defender, he has improved massively over the last couple of years and he can play LB as well so he could slot right in there with Ivanovic and Chiellini or Andrade as our Cb pairing
