y u anti Sneijder?

I actually prefer them all about the same....( in order ) Diego, Sneijder then VDV...they're the type of players we need.

Sneijder has a magnificant shot, but I don't think he's as good with the dribble and ball control as VDV.

This is the first rumour that actually got me excited.
Van der Vaart at Juve would be fantastic

A trident of Del Piero, Huntelaar and Van der Vaart would be amazing

As taken from goal.com

"Van der Vaart has previously declared that Real Madrid would be his dream destination: "Real is my life's dream. That is where I really want to play.""

Why then bother ?!?!

plus

"However Juve’s interest will have to be turned into a much higher offer as they are only reported to be offering €10 million. Only something close to double that will bring Hamburg to the negotiating table."

too expensive right now...

Shows how he really means that cos before he joined Hamburg he tried to talk his way into Barcelona saying his mum is spainish and is from that region and he always wanted to play for that club since he was a boy. So him talking of Real means nothing to me.

He's coming to Turin!! :D

Van der vaart to Juve is not so impossible. His price tag is within reach.
I beleive if we get some of the players we are rumored to desire then we will have one strong team. Now imagine with me please if Van der Vaart came along with few others:
Goalkeepers:
Buffon and Mirante (shown his worth, he's fantastic)
Deffense:
Barzagli, Milito, Legro, Crisito, Zebina, Chiellini, Balzaretti, Gregyra.
Midfield:
Camoranesi, Nedved, Zanetti, Marchisio, Paro, Sissoko, Marchioni, Van der Vaart
Offense:
Del Piero, Iaquinta, Miccoli, Palladino, Trezguet (Huntelaar)

The total budget of this campaign:
Barzagli: ~20 million euro
Milito: ~15 million euro
Van der Vaart: ~20 million euro
Huntelaar: the money we get from trezeguet if he is sold would be sufficient.

Huntelaar may cost around 12 mio but I don't know how much we can get for trez

Yes sounds really nice, but I'm affraid that it's quite impossible for juve to get all 4-5 players. Maybe if we can get really a lot for camo and trez

the dumbest decision he made was to join Hamburg
Actually that was his best decision. He was going through a rough patch, formwise and mentally at ajax at that time. He wasn't even close to being ready for a move to one of the elite clubs. He needed a step inbetween, he completely refound himself at Hamburg; finally fullfilling his potential.

VdV is good, but so injury prone and a tad inconsistent.

I agree with that, it was pretty smart by Rafael as he was coming off a mediocre season with Ajax despite his talent and he wanted to gain experiance in a club where the spotlight wouldn't always be on him. Now he might be ready to move on to a bigger club, but his injuries are a big worry for the potential buyers.
Van der Vaart is brilliant from time to time. But he's so fragile.

Van Der Vaart On Juventus Shopping List Juventus are the latest among the top clubs to join the chase for Rafael van der Vaart.

The Dutch midfield star, who did so much to rescue Hamburg’s season from disaster, is being courted by the ‘Old Lady’ of Italian football.

It appears as if Juve will be the first club to make a move for the talented Dutchman, as they see him as Pavel Nedved's long term replacement, and who can also play the number 10 role to perfection.

Bayern Munich were linked to him earlier in the summer, but it seems he poured cold water on any potential move due to the fact they had rejected him earlier in his career.

Juventus star Pavel Nedved has reportedly told friends in Prague that "everyone at Juve is crazy about van der Vaart. He should come to us."

When approached for a comment the 24 year old said, "It’s a great honour that such a big club have shown an interest in me."

However Juve’s interest will have to be turned into a much higher offer as they are only reported to be offering €10 million. Only something close to double that will bring Hamburg to the negotiating table.

Van der Vaart has previously declared that Real Madrid would be his dream destination: "Real is my life's dream. That is where I really want to play."

Check the posts man... this is on page 2 ...
We built 3 pages after that post :)

As some already said...fragile, arogant...not a Juve standard :)

I cant stand watching him showing his name after each goal...as people don't know who he is... I think he does not understand that gesture (celebration of goal).

Pass on some other great names :)

I never saw him showing his name, like Kezman used to do
And he is not that arogant, he's more the perfect sun in law as you ask me
