Seedorf is also dropped, but I think Oranje will do better without him.

I think they have a decent chance (or at least this is what I am hoping for).

Hup Holland, show me an orange Amsterdam while I'm there.

Seedorf was never in any provisional squad since Van Basten took over. Or any real squad, for that matter. He's hot air to us.

We'll bomb and go out to Argentina and the Ivory Coast. He left out Davids FFS

Ok, leaving Davids was not smart, he adds depth but Van Bommel, Cocu and Maduro can do the job.

Trust me Erik, they will advance from the group stage.

Who will be the back four?

The midfelders will be Van Bommel, Cocu and Van der Vaart and the forwards Kuyt, Van Nistelrooy and Robben.

I would prefer to Van Persie or Sneijder instead of Kuyt though.

Not really. I mean, it's not like the Turks are going...

Van Bommel, Cocu and Van der Vaart is too defensive for Van Basten's liking I think. As for the back four; they will include Ooijer and Boulahrouz. Possibly with Heitinga on the right (or Ooijer on the right and Heitinga in the centre with Boulahrouz) and Van Bronckhorst on the left.

Cocu is purely defensive, Van Bommel adds a lot to the attack. I like his vision in passing and his long shots.

Of course he will. I am also confident about Wesley if he is used instead of Kuyt. I don't see the need for the typical 4-3-3, I don't know. Is it taboo for Oranje not to play a 4-3-3, Erik?

Oh it is. Holland will *not* play anything other than 4-3-3. We haven't in decades with the exception of the dark age under Advocaat.

Personally I agree with what you said about Van Persie. And I'm not a fan of Kuyt at all.

As for your midfield; I could get used to that. But I'm not sure Van Basten can :D
