The brain behind Real Madirds whole transfer philosophy and tactics

Jorge Valdano has just been made redundant at Real Madrid

this means that next year we will see a completley different Real Madrid in many aspects

gone are probably the flamboyant signings...

The loaning of bench players
And only keeping juniors on the bench

A lot will change next year.....

i believe they will stop using that policy. valdano was the mastermind behind it. he failed, i doubt perez will be reelected and new president will do better. hell, even i would do better if i had a possibility.

maybe, but i think Baraja is a better signing for them cuz they really need a DM who's strong defensively.
IMO Baraja is stronger than Alonso defensively.dont you think so?:)

Yes, I do, and both are great players. But the thought of Alonso's wonderfull passes and creative play is just too appealing, and he's younger.

yup Alonso is much more creative,he's younger, his goal against Depor tells the rest of the story, but i dont think that he's what Real need.as we all know about their defensive problems.
