When I lived in Boston I went once every two/three weeks and they helped me maintain my natural skin color... I guess theyre unhealthy if you use them once a day

Yes it is. I go every once in a while- it helps like hell to keep good looking skin without spots or zits. I havent had one in ages and I used to be a spotty bugger.
