Brandao

Full name Gonçalo Jardim Brandão

Place of birth Lisbon, Portugal

Club career
A product of hometown C.F. Os Belenenses' youth system, Brandão made is debut in the first division against F.C. Porto, scoring in a 1–4 home loss, on 18 October 2003, aged 17. Ironically, he only managed another seven first team appearances in the next three seasons combined, with a loan to Charlton Athletic in 2005–06 in between (no league matches played).

On 4 February 2007, Brandão played his first league match after his Belenenses return against Vitória de Setúbal.[1] In June 2008, it was announced he had signed with Serie A's A.C. Siena. After a shaky start (he made his league debut only on December 20, in a 1–2 home defeat against F.C. Internazionale Milano), he finished his first season as an undisputed starter.

International career
After having represented Portugal at all the youth levels, including the under-21s,[2] Brandão made his main team debut on 31 March 2009, appearing as a left back in a 2–0 friendly win over South Africa, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Alessandro Bernardini

Youth & Serie D
Born in Domodossola, The Province of Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Bernardini started his youth career at province capital Verbania. He then signed a youth contract with Parma, where he played 3 seasons.

In summer 2006, he left for non-professional side Borgomanero in his home region Piedmont. He played 61 league matches and scored 2 goals.

Varese
He signed his first professional contract with Varese in summer 2008. In his 2nd season he became the definite stater, only missed 2 out of 20 league matches, while he missed the latter by sent off in a Round 18 rescheduled match against Perugia on 13 January 2010, which also his late match.[1] He also played 2 out of 2 Coppa Italia match as stater, which lost to Frosinone Calcio of Serie B in penalty shootout.

Livorno
After suspended on 17 January 2010 against Arezzo, he joined Serie A struggler Livorno in a co-ownership deal with Varese on 19 January 2010. He was presented along with another new player Andrea Esposito. Co-current with their arrival, Federico Dionisi who only played 3 league matches this season left the club on loan.

Simone Padoin (born 18 March 1984) is an Italian football midfielder, who can also play as a defender.

He joined Vicenza from Atalanta in a co-ownership deal which became full-ownership one year later. At the beginning of the 2007-08 season, he returned to Atalanta.

He added three more years to his contact on May 2009, made his contract expire at June 2013.

Not excited for any of these players, they are all defenders and one goalkeeper. Kjaer, Bonucci, Ariaudo, and Criscito are better defenders to be looking at. And if we are going to look at a GK, look at Marchetti.

delneri worked wit padoin at atlanta, and i guess have a great deal of trust towards him.i guess he will be good for a back-up player at juventus, as a utility player IMO

Also I agree about Padoin, his versatility could be very useful and he's always been comsistent with Atalanta.

    The Italy U17 keeper Bardi might be worth a few € for future potential, I'm not sure about the others. Padoin is alright and versatile, Brandao is ok as well, a bit brutal though.

    Who said these are trials? (except the young goalie, who knows) These players are just to fill in ze tour me thinks, we did it last time around, these pre summer tours tend to thin our squad, and we are just filling it out again me thinks.

    It will be interesting to see some new faces in the Juve jersey that's for sure. Maybe some young ones too for a change..
