Bush has a 42 percent approval rating if that helps. And its declining every day.

    Do you really care??

Even if nobody admires him, he'll continue spreading his stupidity all over the World...

And when his ruling period ends, another idiot will come instead...

Are you saying that the US citizens are doomed to have idiots as presidents?

Do you have a cure for that?

    I do. More cow bell.

But on a serious note, I don't think any of the posters here besides Jack and Rami have enough knowlede of US politics to judge the situation right now. (that assumption is based on posts in this thread so far)

So far posters have defined the US population as being retarded sheep who allow lesser men to rule them. This is completey wrong. Allow me to explain.

An approval rating below 50 percent in a two party system means that even members of the President's own party are questioning his methods. In truth the Bush whitehouse finds itself on the verge of falling apart. In an attempt to raise assurance for his party for the mid-term elections this fall. Bush has replaced cabinet members and played the its not my fault game. The American public is not as dumb you may think and the approval rate reflects this. Even with the cabinet changes many top government officials and politician are calling for other resignations. The biggest issues seem to be the economy and the lack of progress in Iraq. With the way attitudes are going, I can guarantee that another idiot will not be elected in two years. In fact it is highly possible that a change of power occurs in congress this year.

I suggest nay-sayers properly research topics or at least have some understanding of them before posting.

    one thing confuses me enron...

most of the US peeps i have met,in life or online hates bush....i mean allmost 90% of peeps i come across r not satisfied with bush's methods...but then there r elections..bush wins..surprisingly.

why does this happen? do ppl lie that they hate bush so that they don't have to explain why they support bush? or ppl who love bush keep a low profile?

i mean look at the media...world media,US media..the first impression u get is that bbush is the most hated guy in US...he still wins..why?

Bush had the churches behind him in both elections and that helped him to get the African American vote that is traditionally democratic. Bush also made a lot of promises he didn't intend to keep. He also is very good at smear campaigns against his opponents. Less than 30 percent of registered voters voted in the last election, now many who didn't vote wish they did.

In 2000 Bush was given the election by the Florida Sec of State and the ultra conservative US Supreme Court. In 2002 Bush used smear campaigns and a very boring John Kerry to his advantage.

On another note Bush supporters and anti Bush people usually share there opinions openly as both believe they are correct.

I have one completely unfounded theory of why this is: people who voted for Bush have a general tendency (i.e., far more than those who voted against him) to never leave the country and see what the rest of the world is like first-hand. Which explains why most of the peeps you met in life may seem to have a skewed opinion of the president.

hey you too swag :p tell me did u vote? for whom?:D

i agree with ur post...reminds me of some mail i recieved some time back regarding the UN survey

A worldwide survey was conducted by the UN. The only
    question asked was:
"Would you please give your honest opinion about
solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the
    world?"

The survey was a huge failure,
In Africa they didn't know what 'food' meant,
In India they didn't know what 'honest' meant,
In Europe they didn't know what 'shortage' meant,
In China they didn't know what 'opinion' meant,
In the Middle East they didn't know what 'solution'
    meant,
In South America they didn't know what 'please' meant,

And in the USA they didn't know what 'the rest of the
    world' meant!

That joke makes so much sense these days. Especially now that the world is "flat".
