    What happened to Twellman?
Bruce thought it would be a good idea to bring Ching instead, something that I seriously do not understand. Twellman is easily the better player and had the better performances throughout the entire examination period. I would hope that Bruce did not pick Ching just because he has scored more goals in MLS thus far this season, however that could be the case. I don't know. But the omission of Twellman could be a mistake because the guy has loads of talent and can do it all up top.

But in the end I doubt he would play anyway because Arena loves to field Wolff for some odd and unknown reason. Another questionable decision.

Also add in Albright replacing Hedjuk. Another questionable call.

Albright is the biggest fucking joke player ever. Why he continues getting the call from Bruce is simply beyond me..

He was the shittiest player on DC United a few years ago and is not doing much better at the LA Galaxy. I have never seen this guy actually have a great match and everybody seems to overrate the hell out of him...now even Bruce Arena. I hope Albright gets injured because he simply doesn't deserve to go to Germany.

    And what about Berhalter? Hmm.

Berhalter was our keystone during qualifying and not to mention very important in the last World Cup. Why he was left out is beyond me. Do you know who is on the replacement squad?

It just boggles my mind why Jimmy Conrad gets the call over Berhalter, and we better hope Onyewu and Bocanegra can form a solid partnership at the back because Eddie Pope is simply too old for this level of football while Conrad is too inexperianced. Leaving Berhalter out of the side is like Sven leaving John Terry home...makes absolutely no sense at all.

I have not actually seen the replacement squad as of yet. Perhaps it's on the US football website..

12 Gibbs, Cory D 6’0” 178 01/14/80 18/0 Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. ADO Den Haag (Holland)

I've seen him play live; I was pleasantly surprised. Usually when a player moves to The Hague from Feyenoord he's utter crap but Gibbs proved that assumption to be wrong.

In light of correctness: he took a transfer to Southampton a few weeks ago. Definitely a step up I'd say so that's good for his career and your NT.

Did he not sign for Chalrton? The last I heard was that he signed on with Charlton no less than a few days ago.

Playing in the EPL is certainly a step up from Ado Den Haag (no offense :D ) and hopefully he will receive a good amount of playing time, wherever he will end up. I like the looks of Charlton for the young lad.

You can add O'Brien and Donovan to that list as well, despite the former being a choke artist California boy who is too scared for challenges across the pond.

O'Brien is just as experianced as Reyna and was a regular starter for Ajax before the Koeman days.

Not that I know him too well, but isn't Donovan kind of inconsistent?

For our National Team he is anything but inconsistent, and was a force throughout all our qualifying matches. In the MLS he can be inconsistent at times, however the performances for our National Team are some of the best ever. The kid has loads of potential but just does not have the urge or will power to take on Europe and this is something I will never forgive him for. Unless, that is, he helps us win the World Cup down the road..

I don't know about overrated. Burke, Andy, and myself saw him play live a few weeks ago. I was a doubter until then. He schools grown men on a regular basis, for his age he's amazing and can only get better. And its not like we were far away and only saw dots, we were close enough to the pitch for him to hear us tell him his mothers cookie were damn good. :pint:

O'Brien played for The Hague earlier this season before disputes with the club and coach left him without a team. So he immediately accepted the first team to offer him a chance to play, Chivas USA. Therefore O'Brien is the man.

And I don't take offense to anyone calling Den Haag a crappy club (cause they are). You, however, might after having a closer look at the following page ;)

Oh I very well know about that, my man. But in all fairness, the EPL is a step up from the Eredivisie. Sorry buddy. ;)
