Robinson is good....so is Niemi. but i guess VDS is far more experienced in CL. but it has been a while since he played in CL

Most of the players high-lighted are there cause they lack experience, no due to talent, sometimes experience are just as important...

for example look at Kemeni...this is his FIRST FULL SEASON for crying out loud, and someone has the audacity to say he is better then VDS...
Like I said, those aren't the obvious ones...you can debate all you like about Kameni (who is undeniably an extremely talented keeper, and a young one at that) but the fact remains that there are loads of better keepers out there Fergie could've gotten.

I'm not so sure about Cudicini, anybody with some brains would know that he's a top keeper so IMO it's Chelsea that's keeping Man Utd from making a bid. It's not like they need the money anyway.

There are alot of good keepers the Devils could've gotten in the EPL itself.Niemi, Given, Friedel, Robinson, etc.

Are you kidding me? In my opinion only Cech is better then VDS, fact is VDS has played in front of a mediocre defence for the last couple of years, yet ANYONE who watches the Premiership regularly with tell you VDS is a class goalkeeper.

I am very happy with him, our problem with goalkeepers hasnt been as big as everyone says...BUT our problem is that Howard and Carroll had no experience and made mistakes in big games, VDS is the kind of keeper we NEEDED.

Sure' he has experience, but he's past it.Three years ago this might've been a good move, but right now it'd make more sense to get someone younger and more reliable.Your goalkeeping was a liability last year, why take another risk?

There are TONS of keepers out there who could take his place, yes VDS has played in a crap team for a few years now-don't you think there's a reason he ended up there in the first place? And it's preposterous to suggest that Cech is the only keeper better than VDS, I can't even begin to name the great goalies you've insulted with that comment.

And even then, Cech is barely better, I'd like him to see what he can do when you play in front of an inept defense, you are really joking, VDS is one of the top goalkeepers, its dumb to suggest he isnt.

VDS will struggle..... MU has always struggled to get a good keeper and I just think VDS isn't good enough for MU

"Jose Mourinho wins Euro Vase in 2003 and Big Cup in 2004. Rafa
Benitez wins Euro Vase in 2004 and Big Cup in 2005. If this trend is
to continue, then Manchester United should sack Fergie now and get
CSKA Moscow manager Valeriy Gazzaev on board. Come on Glazer, you know what to do!" - Mat Eaton, Manchester.
