yeah, i hear majed is great. in the reserve vs. reserves of juve and atalanta he was terrific. but i have to say DJ stole the show with a record 18 assists..and then to add to that, he produced 4-5 terrific flying diving matrix-style saves....

I wouldn't call Tomasson under-rated. I had a feeling he wouldn't make it in Serie A. A bit silly sometimes to sign some players based on their WC performances

IMO that was his one of the best seasons....he did not score lots of goals..if any...but he did so many assissts that I have lost a count of them....he is neither overrated nor underrated!

he had an average season IMO,he may have won the CL and the italian and super cup,but he wasnt one of Milans top 3 players was he?in fact he wasnt even one of the best 5.

he isnt overrated but in the same time he isnt underrated.

Milan's got 2 succesive CL-titles (ie. check the date of that post )

Agree on Zola. In Italy he is underrated, I don't think that he was never to compare with Baggio, but his bad luck was (same 4 Mancini) to be so close in age with him. Zola is IMO one of the most talented italian player of last 20 years, if he wuold be 10 years younger or older he wuold became an idol, but he was contemporary with ouer best player ever, so he was always a bit on the side. Anycase I think that in England he found all that he deserved.
I do think that both Zola and Mancini are more talented than Totti and than any Italian player (excluding Baggio) of the last 20 years.

I used to like Montella, but I think that the reason why he didn't become so grate is in his head, he underrated himsemself so he he didn't give all that he had.

May agree also if not totaly with Boban and Signori.

Batistuta, Savicevic and Donadoni not... at their time they weare stimated a lot. Batistuta never won any personal award and I think this is his regret but from fans and media he was always considered a lot. Savicevic in Milan was considered a lot and if in his last years in Italy he was "forgotten" was because he was always injured and didn't play but during his peack he had a lot of spotlight. Donadoni in Italy was always considered a lot, even now peaple always say that a winger like him will never be born again.

WHAT? Maresca under-rated? He is compared to greats when he has done little..people in here claim he is on a higher level than Kaka. Maresca is OVER-RATED if anything...much like DP..if they continue pumping him up with great expectations they only have themselves to blame when he fails to deliver in big games like DP.

They actually signed him BEFORE the WC. So then it was actually some good "pickings"

Enzo is pumped to death but Juve as the next great thing...the next great thing for Italy is a Cassano...a Pirlo..NOT a Maresca..give me a fu*kin break. Look back at some threads..some of your fellow Juventini said he would be BETTER talent wise than Kaka.
Just because Lippi does not play him does not mean he is under rated..be realistic..
This is not new...Moggi has an uncanny ability to pump up his Italian players until it makes you puke or until they can't stand the pressure and falter

hey imo, as a enzo fan, he is and will be class. Pirlo IMO is not the future, he was a mediocre am, transformed into a decent DM.

Cassano, is a problem child, good but not good enought to be the future.

Miccoli imo is a decent stab at the azzuri future. Cassano is too arogant.

RE Serghino, i rememebr watchin footy italia when milan won lo schudetto with shev on form, the commentators described Serg as an outstanding winger....but from my point of view he was jus average brazilian winger. Thats y i believe serg is over rated.
