and I'm a casual Sci-Fi junkie 
Alot of Sci-Fi movies like X Files, The 4400, Taken, Independence day etc...include the US government concealing information on UFO's and aliens in their plots/subplots.
The subject has been sensationalised since the 1950s soooo much in that country, to the extent that people are convinced the "truth" is out there. So it begs the question why would the USA government want to conceal something like this, and for such a long time?
On a grand scale, think about the universe and the billions of galaxies out there. It sounds reasonable to thing that it's almost certain that there's another solar system millions of light years away with a planet that holds life just like Earth.
THey don't have to be "little green men" lol.........
Man walked on the moon...but the question remains whether in our lifetime we'll witness any "Star Trek"-like space expedition into the universe in search for the next galaxy.
Even if we have to do it thru Earth, the "radiowaves" would take millions of light years to be "received" by the other galaxy and for the return message to "come back".

I'm watching Larry King Live tonight, and apparently there is some sort of press conference on Monday that reveal new information regarding UFO's. I don't have a clue what is going on with that, however some of these accounts I've seen on Larry King are indeed eye-opening. I mean, it's just as hard to believe these people are lying as it is to believe they're telling the truth.
Nope. Another logical explanation is that the government will withold evidence of alien spacecraft to halt mass panic and also to have a commanding knowledge over the general public. The government will not allow people to think that they have no control over a situation, so keeping this information away from the general public is what you call, "taking measures that are in your best interest."
I dont think that any government in the world could hide the appearance of UFO's,
they just cant, even if they have 110% control over the media...
Unless UFO's cooperate with them, make an agreement and conspire against the rest of the ppl, witch is almost impossible to happen for over a trillion of reasons...(lack of communication, interest, fear, knowledge of what a government is and what kind of power has over the rest of the ppl, etc etc)
So this whole theory sux, aliens will not necessarily have a similar form, dimension, logic, or morality(if they do have any). Why would they keep visiting us without revealing them self??
Our planet is relatively small, so most chances are that other life forms could be huge enough to have a body in the size of a tank or even a bus, (and arachnoid form, with many leggs, so they could walk in planet with a much bigger gravity field) how would the US government hide that? Sending men in black to "erase" our memory? (lol) The "spacecraft" could as big as a city, or as small as a fly, it will either pass unnoticed, by every radar in the world, or everybody will see it and utube will host it, seconds after that...
Chances that UFO's have visited us and the government hided them, are minimal!!
