Following another absorbing round of Champions League action, Juventus’ three Group E rivals – Nordsjaelland, Shakhtar and Chelsea – are preparing to return to their domestic duties this weekend.
The Bianconeri’s most recent opponents, Nordsjaelland, are first up this evening, playing host to second-placed Aalborg at their more traditional home venue of Farum Park. Kasper Hjulmand’s men will be looking to continue their league revival by making up the four-point gap on their second-placed visitors.
Saturday sees Shakhtar Donetsk, fresh from their midweek victory over Chelsea, aim to extend their impressive championship winning streak to 13 games when they travel to mid-table Tavriya.
Roberto Di Matteo’s Chelsea will face a top-of-the-table clash with Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday. The Blues are currently sitting pretty at the summit of the Premiership and boast a four-point lead over their rivals.
