Last Monday U2 and Greenday played TOGETHER in the re opening of the New Orelans Superdome
The recorded a song. The Saints are coming.
They are selling the MP3 in internet to get sources for the music rising fundation who was created by u2`s guitarrist The Edge. The foundation goal is help the musicians that lost their instruments in last year hurricane Katrina.
As you might know New Orleans is the city of jazz- Was a city full of musicians and music was everywhere. Now those men and women can´t play anymore because they dont have instruments.
It´s a really sad situation.
Music Rising is being helping this people all year long.
Now u2 and Greenday are selling the song they recorded last month in Abbey Road for the foundation.You can see the whole show in the superdome here

I agree that there were more important things than reopening the superdome.
But that has nothing to do with music rising foundation.
And the worldwide show that monday football is was an extraordinary opportunity for them to put themselves in the public eye.
