The question what I have against conservative ideas is a lot more complex, and, as you correctly stated, mostly depends on what is understood under the term conservative. In this discussion I've generally used the American definition, the somewhat obscure combination of, at times, extreme economic liberalism, and conservative values when it comes to social matters, such as immigration, education, gender equality, etc, along with a firm believe in a strongly limited state. I'd maybe add rather religisously as a trait as well. Every single one of the aforementioned points, should they really be explored in a way worthy of their complexity, would be taking up pages upon pages of discussion, which is why I'm not going to comment on them individually. Also, I've never really found political discussions on the Internet forums to actually be fruitful anyways.
