Germany 1st easily. its between Portugal and Ghana for the 2nd. it depends all on Ronaldo and how he will play the most important game against Ghana. the US shouldnt even come to the WC. they could stay home aswell as the will have zero punti in the end...
 :howler: Easily. Have you seen their defense? They have been leaking goals, both in qualifiers and friendlies. They are the favorites in this group, and rightfully so, but to say that they will finish top (easily) in a very difficult section is both ignorant and naive.

Ghana will finish up top. The pasty German will suffocate, Portugual will have a decent showing by beating both the US and Germany, only to loose to Ghana. Ghana undefeated in group stage, the US will be everyone's bitch. Germany will get knocked out you heard first here.

:agree: He couldn't even be bothered to play in the Africa cup last year, doesn't deserve to play in the WC either.
It's a shame only African players pull shit like that in Europe you see them throwing fits for not getting to represent their countries, yet you have people like Essien :sergio:

I think they screw themselves though, they do it on a terrible timeline, in the middle of the season.

Fresh, you're from Ghana? Where are you now?
Nope, I am Somali-Canadian, Somali roots, raised in Canada.

If Altidore continues like this there is no reason why he should be starting. I don't think I can ever agree to having Beasley play left-back, so that means Chandler would be my pick for that spot (since Jurgen wants to play Johnson against Ronaldo). Here's what I would like to see Jurgen try out.

Howard

Johnson - Cameron - Besler - Chandler

Bradley - Jones

Zusi - Diskerud - Dempsey

Johannsson

You still have the two defensive midfielders in there, which means the weak defense will be relatively protected. With Diskerud in the mix he can be that trequartista that hangs back a bit and fills in towards the top of the box, which is how he has scored his goals. It might be a little weak defensively on the left-hand side with Dempsey, but Jones can help cover that side with Mix coming back.

I don't think Bedoya will add anything, and the thought of using out of form players like Jozy is scary. If Jurgen left out Donovan because he hasn't had a good year, then that means Jozy should be benched unless he can somehow turn it around.

I see what you did there.
