You might be right, I don't know much about it but I thought that Rossi came over to Italy at around the age of 13, from wikipedia it says Holden went to USA aged 10.

I might be wrong. The Italian wiki says that he was born in New Yersey, where he lived until he was 13 and in 2000 he moved to Parma where he stayed 4 years before he went to Manchester in 2004.

That might be completely wrong. Wiki also says that Holden was born and raised in Aberdeen and when he was 10 he moved to Texas.

If this is correct (and I don't know if it is) then I don't really see much difference.

Makes sense if Rossi was to play for Italy and Parma at youth level that he would be in their team from around the age of 13.
