Right, since this thread is more about the USA - England game than just the US football team itself:

How good is King really? I keep hearing and reading he's 'easily as good as Rio', but that it's his knee holding him back. I wasn't all that impressed when I saw him, he looked rather slow, got turned easily.

What do you guys think of Johnson? He runs a lot, but..

IF King had a injury free career he would of been the best defender we have. Personally I think Dawson is the better defender.

Do any of you know Sacha Kljestan?
He is close to signing a contract at Anderlecht and I wonder if he is any good and what type of player he is?

Kljestan is a mediocre player. At times he can manage some neat things in midfield and look pretty good, but most of the time he goes missing. He's a creative attacking midfielder who usually plays in the center.

Thankfully, he was dropped from our national team as he has been pretty poor for us over the past year.

His main problem is that he has a Playboy Playmate girlfriend, and he doesn't work hard enough.

Stupid MLS. They covet him as one of the "top players in the league." I would say there are FAR better midfielders than him, like Brad Davis and Bobby Convey.

I hope he does well, but I don't think he will. He doesn't have the work ethic.

Ow man and they got me all excited, the bastards.
There is a small chance he steps his game up with a good team, but I wouldn't bet on it. In fact, I'd bet against it.

He plays for Chivas USA which is a rather pathetic team with limited weapons, but even when he plays for the US he fails to show up, so I'm not sure why Anderlecht would choose him.

Kljestan has talent, but it never materializes.

If he joins, I will keep you updated on his performances, good, bad or on the bench.

thx anyway
Thanks. I'd like to see some Belgian matches but nobody airs them in the states.

I guess it just isn't an interesting league to show outside Belgium.
Be honest, when players like Boussoufa, Lukaku, Defour or Jovanovic are the biggest names in the league, then why would a tv station in the US pay for the broadcasting rights.
