At the Curr: One is offensive and quick but short. The other is defensive and slow and good in the air.

Probably our weakest area on the pitch.

    Rooney

    Gerrard

    J.Cole-Lampard-Barry-Lennon

    A.Cole-King-Terry-Johnson

    James:)scared:)

    This will be ours.
Our tactic will be to sit back and try to catch Johnson or Cole up the pitch and take advantage of James in the net.

Johnson is the one to attack. Cole is very quick at attacking and getting back to defend I don't see your wingers getting much change out of Cole to be honest.

I think I'll keep away from this forum after the match. I could either be basking in glory or being lynched and heckled by alot of people :p

Unless we sign a new player then Juventuz is a no go zone for 24 hours :D

Our central defenders are great in the air, so playing Crouch kind of helps us out.

Joe Cole in the team rather than Crouch?

I'm not convinced you won't start with Gerrard left and Rooney and Crouch up front.
Yes. Gerrard cannot play outwide he's far better centrally in behind the Striker. I think Capello took Joe Cole for the intention of starting him. I'd hate to see Crouch upfront.

He did score almost 30 goals the only season he consistently played on the wing. However it was on the right.:eyebrows:

    Really?

I've always known Gerrard to slot in behind Torres.
Only since we've had Torres. He's played deep, on the right ('06), on the left (Barca and Inter victories), but his favorite position is behind the striker.

Though I'd say he plays best when he's given a free role to roam. No matter where he starts out.

Ahh.. good old Stevie, scores four against West Brom, gets involved in a bar fight, fucks a hooker and verbally abuses a paki. One of the few true Englishmen left in the game.

It's ridiculous that he got off the hook for that bar fight.

    Jury trials. :sergio:
