Alright, these goddamn Argies are just trying to hurt our players. We should have dished it back out. I'd love to see Burdisso or "Nigger" Aguero take a nice injury for a change. Screw you, Argentina.

It was a great game that was eventually ruined by the referee. After that retarded blunder, we couldn't get an attack going until the ref realized he had made a mistake, and thus started to call bullshit fouls against the Argies. After a few bullshit calls we started to get more of the ball and went forward more, causing them problems at the back. Then Freddy Adu made that outstanding run which almost turned into something magical. Good game nonetheless, and I'd take a 0-0 scoreline with the Argentines without question.

But seriously, Adu needs to start. If it was me, I'd do something such as this:

Howard

Cherundolo - Onyewu - Bocanegra - Pearce

Bradley - Edu (Szetela, Mastroeni)

Donovan - Dempsey - Adu

Altidore

I would prefer that we just drop Donovan because he's a pussy, but we all know that won't happen, so I say field something such as that above. Let Dempsey use his confidence in the middle and allow Adu to roam freely and link up with Altidore as in the U-21's last summer.

Somebody who apparently saw the match on another network:

"... was funny too watching Horward after Aguero seemingly told him: "you've killed me!" He laughed and seemed to say: "hey, what you want me to do? let you score? the dumbass is the one with the whistle" "

:lol2: Howard is greatness.

Klestan, Adu, and Donovan actually had a couple of nice runs in the second half. I don't think Altidore is ready to start against teams like Argentina. So Johnson should remain the starter up top. Though I wouldn't mind Altidore coming off the bench.

Johnson doesn't add anything though. He just wastes chances. IMO Altidore is ready to be given the starting role and is our most talented striker. We have got to get these players in there instead of relying on players we've already seen time and time again to no prevail.

Johnson just stroked his namesake out there yesterday -- he wasted anything constructed that went his way. Not that he'll always choke like that -- I've seen so much better from him -- but I think you have to give Jozy and his Pussycats the chance.

    Yeah, exactly.

And now we come to our WC Qualifier with Barbados. Guess who Bradley called up to improve our "strike force"?

    Brian Ching. :inter:

Just STOP this nonsense, Bradley, and call up fucking Altidore. Stop being such a gaddamn pussy with the young players.

Altidore has played one game for the first team, has never played in Europe, or against top competition and you're ready to toss him the keys to the car?

I totally agree that he deserves a place in the squad above the Josh Wolffs and Brian Chings. But to say he is our best option is just not true. He isn't battle tested. You have to develop the guy and get him used to playing at a higher level, throw him in as a sub. If shows promise give him a shot after he's proven himself.
