Impressed with:

Chandler - 7 - Thought he showed a lot of composure for his age. Made a bunch of nice runs forward.

Ream - 6.5 - Apart from a few poor plays in the first half, he came around strong. Made much better touches out of the back in the second half, which is more what he's known for.

Agudelo - 6 - As an individual, he was decent. Showed more than any other player in attack, IMO. Jozy was poor, while Donovan and Dempsey were off once again.

Jones - 6.5 - Overall, a good second half. Showed more poise and defensive solidity than Edu in the first half. I think he's going to be the best partner for Bradley in midfield considering how he reads the game, plays his way out of trouble, and can pass the ball to feet well at times.

Disgruntled with:

Bornstein - 0 - As always. Can't do anything well, yet I'm seeing some posters on various US boards trying to defend him. Typical.

Donovan and Dempsey - 5 - Poor tonight. More needs to be said about their performances in the last two matches. They were pretty invisible.

Bob - 4 - Sure, he didn't play three DM's, but he should have put in Diskerud. Starting Stein and bringing in Kljestan is unfathomable. We never looked like a team tonight, nor did we want to win this game.

Jozy - 5 - Nothing like what we saw the other night.

Not many positives about this match. But Paraguay are tough opponents when they are under fire, forming a solid unit at the back and winning balls all over the park.

But it is very embarrassing playing the way we did in front of a 99% pro-USA crowd. We showed no urgency or will to win tonight, and that's the worst facet about the result. Watch us return to the five-man midfield against Spain, a knee-jerk reaction Bob will probably succumb to.

Although I don't think there needs to be a "will to win" in an international friendly where we didn't dress three players.
I disagree. Some of these players are fighting for Gold Cup spots. Paraguay is World Cup competition and we started many of our main boys in front of a home crowd. It was really a nonchalant effort by many of the players.

We better put forth a better effort against Spain in a few months.

I don't understand your point then, unless you're condoning free-loading.

Plus I wouldn't say "a lot" of the individuals showed up tonight. Only about three or four.

The U-20's are up 2-0 on Panama. Playing some sweet football -- keeping the ball on the park and moving together well as a team.

U-20 #USMNT lineup: MacMath; Garza, Ibeagha, Agbossoumonde, Valentin, Kitchen (c), Lletget, Rowe; Arreola, Doyle, Wood

Kitchen playing as a DM instead of at CB. Rowe looking good.

Andy Najar expected to announce his intent to play for Honduras today. 5 year wait to gain eligibility was apparently the decider.
