Bozi, I don't know if you could make a statement any more accurate than that last paragraph...
thanks i dont think anyone in the english media realises just how much it can get your back up listeniung to this mindless drivel, remembering of course that the BBC is supposed to be impartial and speak for the whole of britain. they pander to the english, but, to be honest most english people i know are embarrased by these so called experts and their total blindness to any of englands failings. until this is too late of course when they always make a skapegoat of some poor, player/official/manager who "prevented england from living out their dream"

    Probably, Berlusconi needs the money

    Oh please...

Berlusconi... Does not own or have any control over rai... never has , never will... Berlusconi owns rival Mediaset

Rai is state run... Even when Berlusconi was pm he only had limited control of Rai's polical output, as any leader of the three political branches has... no more

The encryption of football on Rai is not down to rai it is a rites issue that they have no choice over...

It actually costs rai money to encrypt the matches... they make nothing from it... The customer doesnt pay to have it unencryted... the encrytion is purely to keep the matches confined to residents of italy as such not breaking their rites agreement or the agreements of other countries... It is a legal requirement set out in their contracts to show football.
