Volleyball seems to have a bit too much free time on his hands.

Yes we did discuss the waiver system, on more than occasion, in fact - ever since last year's league ended, this new waiver system was supposed to be the "new thing".
Also, you used agreeing to the new rules as a reason why you needed people to confirm their participation this year - you said so to Vinny when you kicked him out and that was the first point you used to rationalize it.

I will drop out of the league if you change anything regarding the waiver system based on a whim and not a well reasoned, rational argument. I can tell you that much.
We never discussed whether it should be FAAB or another kind of waiver wire. The new rules I referred too were 0.5 PPR, lower scores for kickers, no extra bonuses for 300 yards, and yes, some kind of waiver wire etc. I brought up FAAB in the thread, but I didn't get any replies if I remember correctly. Also, stop being a bitch. I prefer FAAB too, but if we're the only ones who like the system, then it's obviously not a good idea.

The whole point of introducing waivers this year was to give 'everybody' a fair shot at coveted free-agents. How is 'reverse order' fair? And ALC had set the waivers to FAAB way before we started discussing who was in and who was out, so it's not farfetched to assume that when people confirmed their participation, they had FAAB in mind.

What Slavo is proposing, if people actually knew the details of it, is simply a childish implementation of a waiver wire. FAAB introduces quite a few new wrinkles to one's strategy, making everything a bit more challenging and possibly way more interesting, as well as fair.

Changing rules and what not after the draft is the problem here, however, and is simply asinine. Even adding TE to the flex would be an unfair thing to do because, had some of us known that beforehand, our draft strategies would have been different.

I understand this is for fun but if we are gonna do something, let's do it right and stop coming up with ideas that bring nothing good to the table anyway.

We all agreed to add TE to the flex. I probably even said I had changed it (because I thought I did). For that reason it wouldn't be unfair to add a TE now. In fact it's unfair not to because some people likely assumed the position was already there when they drafted.

    You weren't.
The mind-readers among us, maybe did figure out what you and ALC were discussing between the two of you. The fact is that as per the rules of the league at draft time, TE was NOT part of the flex and waiver rules were FAAB.
    That's it, end of story.
If you want TE to be part of flex, then you better pay more attention to detail next year, before the draft.
