Bring us Chivu while he is at it :)
While he's at it why not get Colosseum too. Also swapping the Delle Alpi and Stadio Olimpico should be taken into consedaration IMO.

Nah juz Chivu is enough. I don't want the construction of the new Delle Alpi to go to waste ;)

Bolton ‘agree’ Tudor loan Friday 26 August, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bolton are trying to convince Igor Tudor to accept a move to England after they agreed a one-year loan deal with Juventus.

The 27-year-old, who can play in both defence and midfield, is available for transfer after falling out of favour with boss Fabio Capello.

The Croatian made just two substitute appearances last term before joining Siena on loan in January.

"It's just a question of getting him to Bolton and telling him what Bolton is all about," said chairman Phil Gartside. "If we can do that then we will have got a good signing.

"He has three years on his contract and Juventus are not keen to let him out on a permanent deal, but they are quite prepared to let him out on a loan basis.

"However, we have a good record whether they are permanent or not that when we bring a player into the club it's very rare that they leave.

"Even with our loan players, within a year they have always signed and carried on playing."

Bolton have already taken Hidetoshi Nakata on loan from Serie A side Fiorentina.

His height is a big advantage at set piece headers and defending against them, no question. I just don't follow what has caused him to fall out of favor with Capello. I mean, was Montero really that much better for us last season?

yes it is a great advantage i remember tudor being our third top scorer about 3 seasons ago. he scored 7,8 goals i think. why capello never uses him is still a mistery. and yes we could have used him a lot vs. lpool

I actually read an interview with Capello a few days ago, In which he wants to keep Tudor and Kovac. Capello's biggest concern is an injury to either Thuram or Cannavaro, hence him wanting to keep Tudor as well.

Tudor's Bolton Move In Doubt
8/29/2005 4:00:00 PM
Igor Tudor's season-long loan move from Juventus to Bolton is in doubt after the Croat failed to show up for talks with the Trotters.
The versatile 27-year-old was set to hold talks with Sam Allardyce after Bolton reached an agreement with Juve, but Big Sam now fears the player might have had second thoughts.

"It might be that he thinks we are not quite big enough for him. We would have liked him and have tracked him for a long time," said Allardyce.
