I get some sort of an Andy aura from this post, but that's besides the point. You say loyalty has been thrown out the window; what I need to know is how you define loyalty. The way I define loyalty is giving your all and not letting up when the going gets tough. Tudor has done nothing this past season to show that he is a loyal individual, a leader, or a player that is pivotal to the squad. You could maybe say he was phenomenal five seasons ago, but that was five seasons ago and this is now. Now you say the club is throwing loyalty out the window, when the man has been paid good money (more than any other club would pay, otherwise he would've left) to sit on an operating table, get carved, and recuperate by watching re-runs of overdubbed episodes of Looney Toons while eating Cheerios.
I don't like Moggi and the like, but Tudor should be kissing the feet of the Triade.
What is it with people and castigating a player for being injured all the time? Do you people seriously think Tudor just adores sitting on the sidelines while soaking up money under his contract? You honestly believe he loves being injured all the time and it's really his fault? He's a professional footballer for goddamn's sake. It's painful enough for him to be out of action for so long, season after season, when from 2000 until 2004 he was one of our best defenders... now after the club wanted him out for years, the so called "fans" have to chime in their nonsense. Even before these comments several people were blasting Tudor for being lazy and worthless, but apparently people don't have much understanding for medicine. Funny thing is though this isn't brain surgery.
It's not just about Tudor as we have seen not only the Triad fuck over supporters but now even this current board doesn't respect some of greatest players. Tudor was a loyal servant until he was injured, scored some absolutely crucial goals in the past and never complained when benched or shipped on loan. But some people here have trouble remembering such memories and focus on these new comments, which are amazingly not even remotely close to slander.
So lets analyze his comments.
Tudor said:
"There I learnt a brutal professionalism, without heart. When you play and you're good, everyone is around you, but when you don't play, you're on the transfer list, they don't consider you anymore.
This is the TRUTH. When Tudor was healthy and playing regulary under Lippi, everybody here loved him and he was praised to high heaven, especially after scoring the goal against Depor. When Capello came into the picture he had no use for Tudor, so off on loan he went. When Tudor was struggling with injury after injury even at Siena, people started castigating him. Why? Because they're fucking ungrateful retards. That nice little compliment goes out to not only other employees at the club but also people on this board.
"I was present and saw some great players of the past years like Antonio Conte and Paolo Montero who left without receiving even a flower from the club.
More TRUTH.
"Juventus is like a machine, Between the players there are no friendships. Only amongst the Italians there is a bit of reciprocal respect, but nothing much. The only thing that matters is the training and the match. Then everyone goes back home on his own."
Although these statements seem to be blown out of proportion, but since Tudor was a player for us for over five years, he would know.
Tudor isn't insulting the club. He's not saying anything we didn't already know to be honest. But apparently some people are too caught up with the title of the article or are just too biased to realize that Tudor is speaking the truth for the most part. Funny thing is, the same people who are blasting Tudor for his comments denounced Juventus one year ago when we were down and out, stating they wouldn't support a cheating club. Funny how times have changed.
So to sum it all up, people hate on Tudor because he was perpetually injured, which isn't his fault mind you, and blast him for stating the truth. Anybody insulting Tudor over this is quite frankly a biased idiot and need to learn a little more about this club, or just get out. Too many people don't understand a thing about loyalty.
