so you seriously believe this trophy is played to give milan the possibility to injure our best players? Alright. Have you actually seen the scene? Boy if i want to injure somebody, i surely won't do what paloschi did there. Chiellini was not even fouled in my opinion. It's just horribly bad luck. What do you want to do? We can go on whining or we could hope for the best. As if ANY team in the world organizes a game just to injure the opponent in pre-season. You've got to be kidding me... Milan - Juve is always a tough game because it's prestigious, and with people like gattuso, sissoko, poulsen and ambrosini on one pitch, some fouls are unavoidable...

Milan actually gave us abiati for free when they injured us buffon`. Ever thought of that as a 'nice' move? I mean i won't hail milan for that, but that's a fair move, especially considering that milan are not known to have the best goalkeepers at their disposal...
But anyway, with chiello we lost a big part of strength, defense, organization, experience and security. Now get over it; it's not like he will be out forever. At best, he'll miss like 4 games... (in worst case, it will be tougher, i agree, but still...)

but still, there's still no apology from milan...

Yeah, they gave us their 2nd/3rd choice GK because they injured the best in the world. I'd be glad to do business with you.

of course not. I said it

Well you know, they could have left us with vanstrattan (or whoever was 2nd at that point) instead. As i said, i'm not giving apologies for milan or anyone, but injuries just happen in football. It's like that. If we'd have injured Seedorf or jankulovski or so, no one would start complaining about the cup here. It's lottery, and the fact that possibly one of our best players got hurt is just plain bad luck; nothing more. It's not some evil conspiracy by berlusconi or ancelotti, it's not some divine sign that we have to get back to the transfer market, it's not faith who punishes us for not having signed another defender; it's just a simple, fucking accident...

Look, no one complained about that Buffon injury back then, everyone admitted it was bad luck. The problem is, that since then, the injuries in Milan-Juve matches just kept coming, and now it looks suspicious. The Gattuso and Bonera red cards were clear attempts to injure our players.

No, of course not.
This trofeo is actually a friendly match. Since it's a friendly match players should take it easier, no matter the rivalry between the clubs.

And that's how Juve players act in the friendlies, that's how every other team plays the friendlies.....but not Milan.
It's ok to try and give your best even in friendlies, but it's not ok to foul left and right all the time because sooner or later you'll certainly injure someone.
And even though i'm sure they aren't injuring our players on purpose, the fact remains that they keep injuring our players in this trofeo Berlusconi.

If Chiellini's injury was an accident, what Gattuso was doing wasn't an accident. He fouled all the time and some of his tackles were really dangerous.

if you seriously believe that then you're paranoid!
The thing with Milan is just the same as with any other 'derby'. They are the eternal rivals, the team to beat, and to people like gattuso, this is a huge motivational push. And we all know what gattuso does if he's motivated! We are talking about human beings here, and i'm sure NO professional coach ever says "go out and injure them". With red cards / television cameras pointed at them, no one would EVER say that. It's just the heat of the moment!

And btw, the Abbiatti part has very little to do with Milan's good will to help us after we lost Buffon.
Buffon to Milan was the worst kept secret out there. If Calciopoli didn't happen Buffon was certainly going to be sold to Milan.

Giving us Abbiatti was a normal thing to do in such situation...... i leave it to you to conclude why Berlusconi gave us Abbiatti back then.

What Alen said: They are not doing it on purpose (except for the Gattuso and Bonera incidents) but they are just tackling too hard despite the match being a friendly.

For god's sake he took monaco (with an average players compared to others in the competition) to the CL final and he's not good enough for a serie A team :shifty: , so what's more achievements did ranieri have (in he's long career) that makes him bitter than deschamp!! Atleast deschamp was a winner as a player and captain with the french team and juve. He's a leader by nature and that's something that IMO ranieri lacks.....

Hope ranieri all the best cause he's our coach now, but sometimes i wonder did our board choose Ranieri because he's the right choice or simply because he's an easy man :gsol:, it seems like people up there (the three trio) always like to make easy choices (in choosing the coach or the players).......
I suggest you check monacos champions league run that year. Ranieri took a team from serie c to serie a this might not involve fancy "trophies" and what nnots, but its a very good achievement. He coached chelsea when they had zero financial power and got them 3rd place, was at valencia and did well there in hist first stint. Deschamp had no experience beside coaching monaco for what 2 years? Would you trust a coach with a 2 year experience regardless of his playing history at the our club? He just wasn't experienced enough. Although not the best of coaches ranieri has been there, and he did get us back to CL football, lets all shut the fuck up and give him a chance.

aaah. NOW you're talking reasonably. And i agree. Milan were more aggressive yesterday. But in the end, it's not like they hit us constantly... In fact, they haven't got any cards if i remember correctly. But i agree, milan was playing more serious then we did, and that's probably due to their recent games where they lost their face really. Again, i won't find any excuses, but in this thread, things were said which are just ridiculous.

With the abbiati-thing... honestly, i don't even want to talk about what happen if and maybe... i don't care. What i see is that in the end, they gave us abbiati (who could have very well played first keeper if i were to manage milan)... But i don't care, and i'm just as pissed as you guys that we lost chiellini, but that's how things go.

You can't imagine the amount of shit I receive about that fact. It is good to see someone else also believes that this deal was bound to happen.

you're free to do that but i won't.....I'll support ranieri but that doesn't mean i believe in him.......

So you mean they all had face transplants to look like AC milans player?

No they were real AC milan players. They are learning how to assassinate footballers in their so called football school. They have a secret garden behind the Milan Lab.

Berlusconi promised them the cocaine after their succesfull attempts of assassination.Milan Lab is one of biggest drug factories in the world. Also Berlusconi has a hash hash field in his garden. It is hidden behind Gattuso's dog hut.
