hey guys, don't be so sad. I think the result is acceptable.

Milan is the champion of CL and almost all their players are better than us, it's sad for me to say, but it's true.

We should accept that we aren't that strong now, we need time to develop again.

Yea,we ain't that strong but we could've done better in the transfer market.we wasted our money on the players who are mostly medicore and hiring Ranieri was another mistake in my opinion.

Let me correct you that he starts many of matches and gets the ball most of times.first,"getting balls most of times" is a very important ability (yes,ABILITY) of a footballer.you have to struggle for the ball to get it most of times and it requires lots of runnings.

Second, last season Trez (the times he wasn't injured) was a starter in Juve as well but he wasn't as important as Ale for us.

Ale had a very good match tonight and this is ridiculous that he's still being criticized.

As for your simple rule to football,
fastness would be a good advantage for a footballer but it isn't necessary.
My apologies, I just realized the way I phrased that rule was a bit misleading. I meant in general:

The ball travels faster than players can run.

Don't run with the ball, pass the bloody thing. Every touch del piero takes is half a second lost, passing the ball up the field rather than dribbling it is what creates proper counter attacks. This has nothing to do with Del Piero's personal speed.

I fail to see why it's ridiculous to criticize any player, especially when you lose without scoring any goals and said player is a forward. Not that this is his fault, but the blame can be distributed equally.

Trez' importance to the team relies extremely heavily upon the service he is getting...the service he's meant to get from Ale and the wingers. We all know he can't pass, dribble, nor defend worth shit.

Of course getting the ball is a talent, but a greater talent is to use it productively for the team more efficiently than would be done without you getting the ball in the first place.

Come on Seb,he was injured most of that awful season.all the team, particularly the defense, were fucked up at that time.
I don't mean only that season, there was a solid 5 year stretch in which he played like shit.

He's undoubtedly a very gifted and talented individual, but to be honest I see a lot of selfishness when he plays. I think Nedved is a much greater team-oriented player. DP plays best when he shares the ball equally with his teammates and doesn't try to do everything himself, something he's been doing alot lately. And no, trying to dribble 3 men THEN pass the ball is not teamwork if it fails.

I can understand you saying DP is past it and he shouldn't be starting (which I disagree with nevertheless) or that he didn't play well today (didn't see the game myself) but to say there was a 5 year stretch where he played like shit is pure blind hate. This period never existed so stop talking out of your ass please.

k thnx

He was bad in 1999-2000 and 2000-2001. Two seasons.

Criscito shudnt be our starting defender,he needs time to develop and and gradually integrate as our first choice. Even Inzaghi manage to outmuscle him at a point and had a shot away ...just imagine what the likes of Zlatan,Ronaldo,Amauri would do. A shoulder charge and then clear one on one with Gigi.Andrade didnt command the defense well enough,he shud have been better positioned on the first goal . Im not over criticizing here, but to digest the fact that we hav a pathetic defense from one of the meanest defense in Europe, its a very sad thing.

Exactly. In 01-02 and 02-03 he hit 20+ goals in all comps, he did well again in 03-04 despite being injured for parts of the season and Lippi experimenting with 4-2-3-1, and in 04-05 and 05-06 he got goals for us even though he was treated unfairly by Capello. I don't know what the fuck this guy is talking about. Next thing he's gonna say DP wasn't our best striker last season.

this is the first full game I see for Juve,I liked Criscito, palladino so much, they both deserve a starting place in our team!! Paqlladino is really great.Nedved is still our dynamo & will still be our Mvp next season(love u neddy),Molinaro should be replaced by Chiellini coz I prefer a player whose better defensevly than a player whose better offens.!! Grygera & Adrade still needs time to cope with the Italian style of play!! I am still confident that Tiago will be the man when it matters, the guy is the only world class player we got this summer & I think he will step up in the start of the season!! Brazzo has power & pace but I cant wait to see Camo on the right!! Oliviera should be shot in the face!! Almiron is pretty solid,Nocerino still needs timr but is showin good work so far!!! Buffon is lookin kinda shaky,I think that from next week he should step up & show everyone why he is the world's best goalkeepper!!! Anyway I think we played good but remember we played against a milan without Kaka & ronaldo & i think that kaka represents 50% of the Milan squad!!

I watched the whole match tonight and there are plenty of positives to take. The team is starting to gel, and should properly start playing a few games into the season. Milan were more organised and always looked like stepping up a gear, but thats the way they play against everyone. Once we gel and become more confident, this tie will be more evenly matched.

Buffon: Did not have much to do, held crosses well, not to blame for goals at close range. Made a HUGE error towards the end that gilardino could really have humiliated him on.

Grygera: Solid today, made good tackels and showed committment, he should be first-choice.

Andrade-Criscito: Both are good on the ball, and are becoming more confident together. They are both great tacklers and can read the game, but they cannot deal with crosses too well yet, Their aerial work needs to improve. Andrade should have scored on DP's cross.

Molinaro: Btter today, good on defense, passing was good. Good cover for Chiellini who is an obvious starter for me. Needs to impose himself more.

Nedved: Looked agitated in the first half and was making mistakes. Was inspired in the second half and i get the impression even when he plays bad, he is dangerous. Teams fear him, his committment is terrific and his passing and shooting are a danger. He is STILL the man

Almiron: Such an exciting prospect. His passing is excellent and his vision is better. Once he tunes in to the team and we gel as a side he will become crucial. Still liable to lose concentration, but should get better and better.

Nocerino: Some erratic fouls but that is largely because he is involved so much. He is our gattuso, he is never out of the action. You know when he is on the field. He needs to gain more consistency is his passing, crossing and shooting. Should become a great asset.

Brazzo: Another fighter, always in the action. Today not his best day. Weak crossing and lost some 50-50's. He is pure energy though and i suspect he will be a good player for us this season.

Tiago: Great improvement. His passing and control were evident today and was unlucky not to score a screamer. Milan could not disposses him and most of his passes connected. I expect him to keep improving.

Del Piero: Was producing some magic touches. He didn' t slow us down, he WAS our threat in attack. They had to keep fouling him and Pavel. At times it looked like he kept choosing the most adventurous option, but entertained and stressed the Milan defence.

Iaquinta: He will hold the ball up for us and should prove to be a really interesting different option for us. He is always looking for the pass and doesn't fade like Trezeguet. Had some bad control today and looked like his confidence was down, hopefully he can gain some throughout the season and improve for us.

Palladino: He has great skill and vision and was making great runs. I think he will be a great player for us one day. His touches were good, he can dribble and i think once he learns how to properly finish chances and become a more direct attacking threat, will become a great star. Ahead of Iaquinta in strikers order just now.

Olivera: Piss

watching this game i realize what a bad transfer market we had
1st of all im pretty sure any juve fan would prefer balzaretti over molinaro anyday...molinaro always seems lost, hes good but hes not juve material
2nd...bayern bought klose from werder...meaning in the same league,a straight rival...we couldve sealed a deal for him for maybe 10million since abroad but we waste 11million on iaquinta...hes not worth that much,i just dont see how he will benefit us more than palladino even
then in midfield i think gilberto silva should have been a priority esp after henry left arsenal.....him and tiago wouldve formed a great cm duo with camo on the right and neddy on the left
for attack also we couldve saved the money from iaquinta and gotten pizzarro for free instead even if his salry demands were kinda high...spending the money on iaquinta and tiago for someone like diego
i reckon we couldve gotten diego and gilberto silva for the money we paid for iaquinta, tiago and almiron
i have faith in andrade and criscito but they must find a system they can both agree on...they dont seem to be on the same page with eachother and neither does buffon
secco get rid of olivera, blasi, legro, boumsong, and zalayet if u have too and buy a good defensive player wether dm or cb
del piero is trying really hard and even though im against ball hogging i have to say i hope he keeps up the intensity
nedved again at 34-35 will be our best player of the season....we need a big big name to join us next season

OK well First of all.......What's done is done, we all agree that buying Iaquenta was a mistake, buying both Almiron and Tiago is stupid..... selling miccoli for pennis, but get over it we cant reverse what we did

Defense
: I just can't understand those who want to sell legro and boum and buy gilberto silva, what if any of our CBs is injured??? we need BOTH legro and boum for backup, even a Seria C club has 2 backup CBs, and dont say Chiellini , he's a LB

Nedved: I won't replace Nedved by anyone, there were people here who wanted to get Diego and Quaresma or whoever and play him instead of Nedved, NO F*CKEN WAY, Nedved had it all yesterday, he attacks, he defends, he's on the right, left ,center, he assists, he shoots, he presses, dribbles and crosses

Delpiero : amazing but slow, great dribbler but slow, very good passes but slow, he needs to pass the ball faster, he's not the Super DP anymore but he sure deserves to start, play about 60 min, then be replaced by palla

And one more thing......If we lost 1-0, or Nedved's luck wasn't shit, if DP scored a goal when he made the great Nesta slide, I wont read that we played a shitty game and that our defense sucks....bla bla
