How many Trez threads does this make, 28 now????

How about people stop expecting him to be this all around striker, which he obviously is not and was never advertised to be, and just realize that he is a porduct of the system, and requires support to be succesful.

He's still 3rd or 4th in scoring after having missed time this year due to injury.

Unless they get a striker like a Gilardino or someone similar, everyone will miss this guy once he's gone.

I don't think so. I think we'd be better off with Di Vaio or Miccoli next to Del Piero,

trez's problem is that he isnt respected enough by moggi and many others. he may not be very active, he isnt a ronaldo or RVN or Henry for that matter, but he does finish well and he scores a lot of goals.

simple as that...i only want to sell him to generate cash as he can be replaced by young stars.

if he stayes than we should focus on buying mids. but if he leaves we should focus on buying atts. and in both cases our def. wont be changed ... so i think that Trez. is not that essential ... but it doesnt mean that he is the bad guy .. cuz i know as well as u know that there r men back there kicking the ball like kids called Montero + legrotaglli ..and if we need money to buy players we should sell these two not Trez.

Trezeguet's problem is.....
working with uninspired midfield this season.... his backup strikers is crappy and always missing.... the club pay him zilch despite being the club's top scorer year in year out... having fans who blaming him on everthing out of the scope of his job despite him doing his own job magnificiently..

Sorry, but just because Trez is terminally dependant upon service from midfield does not make him blameless. His job is to score, that does not mean that he has no responsibility to create or to at least pass the ball. If he's not getting service he needs to drop back and carry the ball forward a bit. He doesn't have that ability, so when things aren't going well, he just dissappears. It's like playing a man down when Trez is on the field.

Trezeguet main problem in juve is lack of participation in constructing game... he is a top scorer but needs a team working just for him...he is not able to develop his own plays, like sheva...is style of playing doesnt fit with juve...

Yep, I agree. Trez can only put the ball in the net on a one or two touch play for Juve. Maybe if we buy Rosicky, Trez will get more service and score more goals for Juve.

Trez is the best when shooting on goal but the problem is that`s the only thing he knows to do a striker should know to do more not just shoot and give a header he is too static!
I don`t expect Trez to realize that and become more active cause this is the player he is a player who only shoot and I simply prefer other kind of strikers who can do more than just shoot
look at Crespo I once thought he is the best! why?! because he can dribble he can shoot he can drag defenders he can do it all I remember him at Lazio and at Parma simply world class striker
I think we should look to such a player like Crespo Henry Van Nistelrooy...

If Arsenal had a Trez kinda striker they have probably scored more than one from their chances against Chelskij, if Manu had a Trez, the same against Porto.

For the most of the great teams creating chances isnt so big problem, but scoring from them is a different story.

Moggi may can build a better Juve, from the money he gets out of Trez, but when will have a good team which cannot win matches inspite dominating and having numerous chances, THAN we will miss Trez realy badly.

IMO every one says that Trez only useful in a good team, and useless if the team doesnt work well.( I think thats right).
My question is, What kinda Juve we want to have next season?
If a good one, than why sell Trez?

I think that you shouln't joke about Trezeguet, becouse I think that he has done more goals for Juve then DP has done in the last years. Every striker must have somebody who delivers the passes, and Juves midfield hasn't done that this year. I like Trez and I hope he stays, as for DP well has he done something for Juve exept havinging a great season in 95/96.

the problem with trez is hes not gettin the ball... not what he do when he got it... Crespo and Van Nistelroy would as useless if the dont have any service from midfield... Henry on the other hand is from another class and category..

Wow another thread for Trez.... :D :D

Just one question for me, how can the mids pass the ball to him when he is man-marked, shoulder to shoulder, feet to feet by the defender?

I don't believe that Trez is the only who must score for Juve. I think every players in the team share the responsibility as well, so even a smallest contribution from any player would be fruitful for the team.

To be honest, I don't mind if he is not creating goals, or passing the balls, but at least he could try to open up the defense by moving around. This will create chances for other players to score.

In order to generate cash and buy two defenders and a midfielder- something that we need more urgently than an addition to Di Vaio, Del Piero and Miccoli. Just like we did two summers ago by selling Zidane and getting Nedved/Thuram/Buffon. Lippi is known for his wise and pragmatic transfer policy.

Even though Trezeguet is a great player, I think we can have a good team without him.
