Vieri and Zlatan would be good because in Ibrahimovic we have someone who can play both as a frontman and a creative forward, so in essence he could replace Trez (or Vieri) and Del Piero in a matter of seasons.
Yeah I agree with that, but I hope once Zlatan is given a more forward role, he can bang in almost the same number of goals as Trezeguet did. Zlatan has the touch to do so IMO.

Even if he doesn't score as many goals as Trez, he's bound to add more to the team and contribute to the build-up which will ultimately lead to goals.

Thats certainly true, we just need the other players to finish off the chances made by Zlatan. And also, every team has a leading scorer, I just hope it will be Zlatan.

Exactly. It's merely a formality now. Trez wants to leave, we (the management) want him gone, so just get it over with ffs.
 you think you're the Juve management now? :p

beside, dont you see that our failure to score in big games more bcoz of failure in the creativity department?...
See that's the point, if our other players aren't up to their game, Trezeguet looks like a fish out of water and he can't do anything to help himself.

If Trez leaves, I'll miss his finishing instinct and positioning sense, but it'll be refreshing to have a front-man who knows how to move

hare hare.... you speak as if the goal scoring job is David Trezeguet's alone... even if he scores alot of goals and make the most of the little chance he had doesnt mean we must burden that respeonsibility on him alone... beside, dont you see that our failure to score in big games more bcoz of failure in the creativity department?... we used two kind of forward to optimize and varietize our goals coring chances... i dun see you ever bashed Del Piero when its clear that when the road to Trezeguet is blocked, the goal scoring resposibility should now shift his way.... now thast very much double standard there dont you think?
i wonder what else should David Trezeguet do .. he got bashed from his own fans just becoz the team depend only on him for goals and he need more quality help from midfield and his back up striker to also scores goal againt more ready quality opponent ....

now not blaming other people to not score as well is one thing, but blaming one personeel in the attacker deparment just becoz all 4-5 players in midfield deparment choked agaisnt big team? :wth: .. and you dont ever care if weather he is given specific orders to not to leave his post... i am sure if he plays for another team, Barca or France, he will be given more license to move around becoz they have other people who can score goals as well....

to have goal poachers is the best way for teams to score a lot of goals... its like a cheat tactic in CM... creative and dribbling players can only bring the ball to a certain stage and they NEED goal poachers to finished it... plus it would be much easier and direct for playmakers to creat plays if at least he knows one players who will be ready at that sweet spot who have reliable finishing skills instead of the more complicated way which he have to read his team mates movement first...

i think its will be a liability to have a dribling players to partners Del Piero as well in attack.. we will see as if our attack is moving, but n truth and statistically, we will score less goal... wo only need to add mobility to our midfield but a MUST to leave static lanky striker up fornt to do post play and cross attack..

beside.. i dont belive there is any striker would be usefull if the midfield deparment completely shut out as we had last season.. .. not in Serie A at least ...

Its true,we dont need another dribbling striker. WE JUST NEED A STRIKER THAT REPRESENTS ACTUALL DANGER TO SERIOUS DEFENCES!!!! we need somebody like etc Morientes or RVN or Zlatan that are tall and have technique to keep the ball second or two in their feet, strikers that can lead the ball in counterattack, strikers that can set-up the goal, players that can take a outside-shot.....we just need all-round striker.

i understand. You just like the exciting dangerous feeling eventhough the end result is more or less the same ;).. i dun care if the guy is not dangerous or invisible for the whole games a long as he suddenly pop up for 2 seconds and score 2 goals. ;)

Trezeguet has good ball holding ability.. we rarely lost possesion when he holds the ball up.. and he can set up goals too.. he had 4 assist this season in Serie A and could have more if Del Piero not waste most of the layoff he did.. and we already have a striker who should lead the counter attack.. thats Del piero .. thats why David Trezeguet have to patiently wait at the top everytime without dropping down in case counter attack opportunity happens..;)..

i just frustrates me that most of the problems you laments is indeed actually in Del Piero's area but you never blamed him at all..

Morientes and RVN would only score more or less the same amount of goal to Trezeguet and Zlatan doent even score enuff in Holland to even be mentioned alongside him ..;)
