okay, here's the plan, we just put Tudor on as a striker next to Di Vaio and then we have Biri and Camo crossing from the right, and Di Vaio and Zamby crossing from the left. I think that it could work...

why not? it's better than zalayeta...
I honestly think Tudor has just as much chance of scoring goals as Zala does, given the same number of opportunities... how sad...

i wouldnt risk miccoli as yet, bring him on in teh second half as we need him against the greeks midweek.

everyone has forgotten Olivera!! these are the games where he must play!! put him alongside Di Vaio, or even play him behind di vaio with nedved and camo.

OR

for the love of god, play Maresca in an attacking midfield role, with nedved back on the left.

its time we start using olivera and maresca as we lack creativity without del piero.

Agreed. Olivera and Maresca deserve a chance, and there's not gonna be many opportunities throughout the season like this one.

Olivera can play a deep forward rol, so why shouldn't he? He should at least be substituted if we're not doing well...

that's a brilliant idea. tudor would be the first juve player for ages if not ever to score a hattrick in each half :D

c'mon lippi, twist your mind. think of something like that

I think Oliveria is injured, and has stayed behind in Turin.

But as some of you - such as gray and Adrian - mentioned, it would be fantasic if Mr Lippi field Maresca.

He deserves a bit more playing time.

By the way, this is from Calcio Italia (or Football Italia as it was used to be called):

David Trezeguet “took a knock to the ankle” and is also in doubt for Tuesday’s European tie, while Alessandro Del Piero has been ruled out until November with a calf strain.

I didn't put the quation marks on, so maybe someone at Calcio Italia - one of our most reliable sources - also had the conspiracy in mind...

I'm just wondering now... Has everyone forgotten about Di Vaio's time in Parma? He played great! He's a world class player, and he scored twice against Roma. I think we should just have faith in him.. Don't worry he will play a great game and in time overtake Trezeguet's place on the first team.

Nobody ever doubted Di Vaio, I don't know where you got that impression. We're all rooting for the bloke, and everyone thinks he can emulate that form, judging by his pre-season. He just needed some time to settle in, and hopefully he can be the great striker we bought him to be :thumb:

Or maybe that's how they got the news form Juventus and Lippi's just trying to coverup the fact that Trez stepped in a bear trap...
