My best holiday was one I won from BA, a holiday to Mauritius, what a paradise island.......

My nightmare holiday was to Jamaica....on a PINK 747 going with Airtours....the sight of the plane put me off before I got on it..didn't even have a company name on it.....with about 30 mins to go before landing the captain said, they are doing maintenance work on the runway at Montego Bay and the runway is not at present long enough for a 747 to land so we are diverting to Kingston where coaches will meet us....so we landed, and waited and waited....after 2 hours still sat on the plane they told us the authorities wouldn't let us get off....

They closed the doors and we took off again.....nobody knew where.......the captain again said, we are on our way back to land at Montego Bay. When the plane lands can everybody please assume the brace position ( head between knees) as we are going to use full brake power....

as the plane touched down the ceiling at the front of the aircraft also decided it was coming down as well....!!!!!

I have never been so relieved to get off a plane in my life. If it had been that pink thing to bring us back I would of swam home....

No, jus nassau!!

Ive been to nassau twice (last about 6 yrs ago), both times we were massively dissapointed ....
A lovely place destroyed by humans!!
White sandy beaches, crystal clear seas.... ruined by empty beer bottles, old clothes and other such rubbish.
The main town.... a dirty mess filled with drunks and beggars, and even more rubbish.

Other islands were great!!

Liked Barbados as well!!
Oh. I see the vargrants do degrade the place. Other than that its very nice.

    Andorra is very dull IMO
Then call me dull, 'cause Andorra is the Netherlands of the mountains for me! I love the place. Catalan is the most beautiful language every, the people are almost as nice as the Dutch, the scenery is beautiful, and the food is spectacular. What's not to like?

The food is good indeed and a lot of Dutch people are plain bastards compared to the Andorran people but I'm not very fond of Mountains in the first place and I was there in summer (I've been told it's WAY better in winters).

Well to be honest, I've never met a Dutch person who wasn't excedingly nice, and I've met only two Andorran people who weren't just as nice.

As for not liking the mountains, what's not to like?

It is good in both summer and winter, but if you thought it was dull in summer, than you should go in winter because the place is on fire in ski season.

I prefer beaches over mountains - plus, as a true Dutchman, I am not too fond of heights ;)

I would try it out in winter but I don't ski (lack of money mostly)... :)

Not too fond of heights, eh? That must be a bummer. I suppose that means you've never base jumped, or sky dived, or even mountain climbed?

I don't ski either, I snow board. Skiing is for Austrians.

Skiing for Austrians? I know a lot of Europeans who'd disagree...

I've climbed mountains and I've also done (don't know the English word) abseilen but I can't say that gave me a thrill or anything...I simply hated it and went to a beach right after :)

As for sky diving - do I look insane??
