    I can't stand:

vanity, materialism, narrow-mindedness, selfishness, arrogance, bluntness , racism, lack of self-control... to name a few. Also, excessively shy or introverted people put me off.

Call me a hypocrite because I'm probably some or all of the above, but I can't help but be put off by these things.
What do you mean by that? Direct people? :wth:

And you should be. Most people have become such freaks that they're telling you it's wrong to be proud of yourself. So what if I'm arrogant? I totally love myself and I'm not going to act like I don't. If there is one person in the world I like to be, it's me.
Couldnt ****ing agree more. Its stupid morals that society as a whole contains.

Really, read Thus Spoke Zarathrustra. Im sure you will love it :thumb:

Hmm maybe I didn't express myself properly...

people who say really harsh, tactless things. I don't really get affected by it, but I know it gets to others and it pisses me off

Even if its true? I like bluntness, it is better then beating round the bush to say something.

No no, of course it's better when people just say the truth, but..

hrm.. you can probably tell by now that I'm really not good at examples..

okay.. today, I went to a friend's 21st birthday party, and we'd all chipped in to buy him an iPod mini. For some reason the guy who bought it got it in pink.

Instead of saying thanks or joking around, the first thing he says is "Pink? Have you guys still got the receipt for this?"

Now he's a friend and all that, and I guess it was kind of weird to get him a pink one, but how fckin rude is that :irritate:

Its not a bad excuse, but i would do the same alot less subtely. I would express my thanks for it, and then perhaps later mention the fact that it is pink sorta puts me off alot.

    Exactly what I'd do.

That's what I meant by bluntness. Maybe I should've said just being freakin rude.

Cheers mate.. I think it'd look odd sometimes though, when people look at the threads and see some of them closed, others not.

If there's a couple of duplicate threads around, I'll close them nice and simple, but when I know it's gonna require a lot of extra typing (e.g. to a new member so they don't get scared away) or if I have to move a lot of things around, I really have to be in the mood for it :sleepy:

theres a slight difference in being arrogant and proud of yourself. you can be proud of yourself but to think of yourself superior than to others? that would be self destructing.
