Seven's favourite Belgian player?
Yeah. One of the few Belgian players of the last 5, 6 years I liked. He had Italian roots and he celebrated his goals like Luca Toni. He became the league's topscorer while playing for a team from my city and ever since he had grown very fond of Antwerp. He was actually driving from Antwerp the night he died..

It is stupid when people glorify football players when they are dead, but Sterchele really was a great guy. He was always laughing and cracking jokes. Add to that the fact he was such an intelligent player and you can see why he had been my favourite Belgian player the last three years..

This one's an okay compilation:

When I was watching the news, and saw the scenes, I started crying. Belgian Football is devastated, its like Italy would loose Amauri..

I still can't believe what happened, and I am a Standard de Liege supporter here.
