Indeed, and after the match he even admitted that his backinjury was still bothering him a bit. I really believe that he has what it takes to become worldclass defender, and what better place to learn how to defend then Serie A ;).

It's good that he scored, but I really don't like it when defenders go forward dureing open play (especially as far as Kompany went ;))

yeah that goal was more of a striker than a DC.

I'm still not sure whether he should play DC or DMC...

If he came to Juve, he'll be DC straight away, but perhaps when he becomes 25, then he could take that DMC position and rape everyone who crosses the halfway line :D

Hmm, he could grow into the role that Vieira currently has at Juve, a defensive midfielder, who comes up to support attack. Given his natural inclination to go forward and his talent for defending, that just might be the ideal position for him.

But he wouldn't want to be Vieira's sub and sit on the bench all season when he's only 19 years old. That's the reason we don't ever get young players.

he could take Giannichedda's role. Of course he won't have a starting spot, but he'll learn with Emo and Vieira. He 'll replace them during the math, and start 5-6 matches in his first season, and then grow until he is da master...

but yeah, that's a dream of course
