Saturday night’s visitors Torino have enjoyed a solid start to life back in the top-flight following last season’s promotion from Serie B.
They got their away campaign up and running with a goalless stalemate in Siena on the opening day of the season.
Another draw followed in their next encounter with Sampdoria. Bianchi put the visitors ahead from the spot midway through the second half, with Pozzi rescuing a point late on.
The Granata then battled back from a goal behind to stun Atalanta with a spectacular 5-1 success in Bergamo. Gazzi, Stefanovic and D’Ambrosio added to Bianchi’s double to hand Giampiero Ventura’s men a resounding victory.
Whilst the winning touch has eluded Torino in recent times, their form away from the Stadio Olimpico has been consistently commendable.
Three successive draws against Palermo (0-0), Lazio (1-1) and Napoli (1-1) were followed by the Granata’s first away defeat of the season, a 2-0 reverse at the hands of Roma on 19 November.
