I like watching Arsenal too but they don't appear to try very hard. I mean, there is no passion just technique and play, like Italy is unfortunately. I would hate to be with anyone from Arsenal because they would be reading from a playbook and not going on instinct. When Arsenal goes against a real team like Juve, they will feel the sting of passion.

remember last year, when we couldn't keep up with their style of play and lacked someone who could dictate the pace of the game in highbury?we won in the delle alpi by a goal and some excellent goalkeeping.i for one am not convinced.

Milan has to be number one, they will surely win something this year, and IMO are the only team realistically that can have the aim of beating Real madrid

I've been quite impressed this season watching Arsenal, and I've enjoyed some of their games....which is weird as I don't particulary like watching the premiership.

but I watched Celtic & Rangers yesterday and enjoyed that....I must be ill....or is it Gary Lineker!!...must be withdrawal symptoms from football italia!

arsenal? no weakness?

try seaman, or keown, or campbell, or kanu
i must agree with seaman but about campbell i consider him one of the best ,and about kowen wenger replaced him with great player (cygan if you saw last 2 matches for the gunners ) , kanu is a subsuite bergkamp is the starter

cygan is good but you cannot call him great after just 2 matches, he may well prove to be great, or he could end up not very good at all.

IMO campbell is overrated by a long way, so we just disagree on him.

Kanu may be sub but he plays probably as much as bergkamp does at the moment, especially those european games where dennis don't fly.

besides, bergkamp himself could be considered a liability due to his age, although still technically very good.

Arsenal are a fantastic side and and are a far more
potent threat to Real than Milan. Milan have outstanding
individuals but they've done nothing domestically or in
europe for 3 or 4 years, so to suddenly make them major
contenders for the Champions' Cup is a bit silly.

I'd say on current form that Arsenal would beat Milan, Inter
or Juventus but Real remain the team to beat.

I disagree, Arsenal have never really conviced in europe.I'm not even startled by their 4-0 away win against psv and their home advantage is clear bcos of their very small pitch.I should think durtmond also beat psv 3-1.So i would really take notice of arsenal if they would reach the 1/4s by playing well.otherwise it's too early to even say the can smack real and milan. There are still a lot of mediocre teams in this 1st stage of the ECL.
But i'm not denying their premiership form though i've got to admit that my respect for the EPL is not that great.
Milan to me would be a threat but i still have reservations bcos their coach is none other than "mr runner's up", carletto(the unlucky one). He's in the same league as cuper, so guys dont worry 2 much if inter's ahead fo us with 4 points we'll catchup and pass them.
But apart from that if milan can realise their full potential, they'll be a real threat and we too if we play like we did against kiev.
