besides, look at all bands, people mentioned earlier: hard to see Beatles and Nirvana in the same cathegory as well, at least for me, however they supposed to be in the same cathegory.
My Sheryl Crow choice was obviously pretty controversial.
In my opinion she is a rock artist. You guys who only have listened to "Soak up the sun" should say that she is a popartist as it is a popsong. "If it makes you happy" and "favourite mistake" are rocksongs for me although they are a bit soft.
U2s "The sweetest thing" could be considered a popsong but "Where the streets have no name" is definetly a rock song, so are they a pop or rock band?
Sorry, but they simply aren't. Many bands can span across several music genres (U2, Led Zeppelin, Metallica) but Linkin Park are as Nu-Metal as it gets.

listen.
i think i know better what kind of music i am listening to.
lp may be a mix of music genres,
but they are still rock.
right febrina????
they might be >>light<< rock,
but they are still rock.
they have said that 1000 of times.
What they say doesn't matter, and it doesn't matter that you listen to them more than I, I've heard a lof of LP songs and they are spearheading the Nu-Metal genre together with Limp Bizkit. That is a fact.
