My friend and I were having a debate whether Rooney is one of the 3 best forwards in the world and I said hell no, he isn't even in the top 10. That led to us making lists of our top 10 forwards, and I was just wondering how the people here would rank as the best. You can take whatever you want into consideration (goalscoring/playmaking/whatever) as long as the player plays forward reasonably often. (i.e. ronaldinho and totti can be included)

This was my list, in order, which i'm surely going to revise, I just wrote it out in 3 minutes without too much thought:

1. Ronaldinho
2. Shevchenko
3. Henry
4. Eto’o
5. Totti
6. Toni
7. Cassano
8. Adriano
9. Trezeguet
10. Van Nistelrooy

Who do you guys think are the best?

you said ronaldinho/totti can be included, what about kakà? his a forward according to milan official site, not a midfielder. and cassano better than trezeguet in your opinion?

Rooney isn't in the top 10. But he's 11 on my list.
Trez is better than Cassano and better than Adriano.

1. Ronaldinho
2. Henry
3. Shevchenko
4. Eto’o
5. Totti
6. Trezeguet
7. Cassano
8. Van Nistelrooy
9. Gilardino
10. Toni/Ronaldo

I didn't say it was perfect, taking a second look at it i have 3 or 4 i would change, i just wrote one out quickly. Yea forgot about Kaka, he is definitely up there, and trez should be above Cassano. Dp is great when he's on form, but it's just not often enough IMO (he could be in the 8-10th range though)

    Henry
    Eto'o
    Van Nistelrooy
    Ronaldo
    Shevchenko
    Adriano
    Kaka
    Larsson
    Gilardino

Because he is not top ten, and i agree with the guy after this that Kaka should be in there.

Man this is hard, I'm just gonna say Eto'o is best striker Ronaldinho best playmaker and Messi best forward.
    Barcelona got it made
