It will be interesting to see how he plays and if he will be called up for italy at euro 2008. Players tend to not get called up just because their not playing in italy.
Not true. Toni is probably Italy's best striker (I mean for the actual NT) at the moment, and he will definately still be called up. Plus, not alot of players play outside of Italy anyway.

This cannot be good for Italian football to lose a player of his calibre, with the mediocrity of the league and players at this point in time, I'd prefer for more world class players to come to the league not leave it

While I would generally agree, I now want our rivals as week as possible, if that means losing top players to other leagues then so be it.

Juve in the CL asap is more important that serie A being strong.

Fine. He is a fantastic player with glorious abilities and amazing style of play and we should do all we can do just to bring him cause he will improve our team greatly and bring us back to glory days just by himself. Trezeguet sucks and we should release him on a free transfer. Is that what you want to hear? :faq1:

Okay, there is a point here, the most important to us (Juventini) is getting back to Europe as soon as possible, I agree. Yet, our performance and the average performance of the Calcio as a whole are related directly proportional to each other; as the average performance of the Calcio increases, our performance increases and vice versa.

I realise that it is a hard equation to be satisfied in such a short period of time, but it's possible; competing for a CL spot in a strong calcio, that would be better. :pint:

a week Serie A in exchange for Juve to be in CL is bad news long term... because ultimately a week Serie A would mean Juve bein' nothin' other than the whippin' boys in the CL...
