It's based on merit, right? I can forgive that she is an old hag because she won gold in 2016

We need a column '@JuveJay explains Japan'
Why is softball so big? Thought it was only played by O'Boyle's Pub and Mickey's Car Wash in NYC Sunday Softball League
I don’t even know why baseball is so big, let alone softball

Is Germany U23 bad or Brazil is too good? Up 3-0 at HT and missed a penalty too.

Neither. We obviously treat this as vacation and we won the U21 EURO two months ago.

In 2016 we nominated Nils Petersen as senior player into the U23 while Brazil nominated Gaymar.

Kuntz (yes) barely got a full squad since nobody could be bothered and Jardine apparently got hundreds of calls from players asking to participate.

    I'm ready for some Jaysplaining.
:agree: on the vending machine subject too

Softball is just hanging off the coat tails of baseball really. Not really 100% sure why baseball is so big, some different reasons such as lack of own sporting niche, big sponsorship of Yomiuri in Tokyo, they kind of made it a discipline in its own right. It's definitely lost ground to football/soccer in recent decades, even to rugby union as well. But still very popular.
