Tip: how to make iso files (1 Viewer)

This is something I just found out, cause I never needed it before. If you ever wondered how to make an iso from a cd, it's as simple as this:

dd if=/dev/cdrom of=file.iso

There's probably dd for windows as well somewhere.

I'm really regretting picking Economics instead of Computer Science this year.. :down:

I don't know what the hell you guys are talking about...But if you are talking about iso as in those DVD files, then I guess you guys could help me. How could I burn the iso file into a DVD watchable on a DVD player? I don't think that burning it straight up would do. What should I do?
