"#Weah's agent is in Turin trying to resolve the situation for days and he has sent his now famous complaint to the main media outlets in Italy and in France.
The main reason for his displeasure is that in June #Juventus was ready to sell #Weah for €14M to #NottinghamForest but now the same figure presented by #Marseille is not enough to #Juve.
To #Comolli it's a matter of principle as he wants to send him to England where he has an offer for the American from a second-tier club at €18-20M"

Same figure but only loan with option as reported ? We better keep him if they ask only for loan

#Marseille maintains the advantage for #Paixao confirming the rumors from almost 10 days ago. No overtaking by Italian or English clubs. Now they need to increase for #Weah

❗️The valuation of #Juventus for #Weah is €20M, otherwise even Mr. Weah can take a seat and stay there, meaning, he doesn’t play.
Comolli himself makes it clear to these guys that the one in charge is Juve.

So we have a better offer on Weah from a Championship club in England and the Marseille offer is loan plus option.

So Comoli is actually correct here to not bend to not only the lower offer (allegedly) but also a loan plus option instead of direct sell.

Sounds like a nice story made up in response to the agent meltdown. We aren't going to throw away 15m or whatever to bench Weah for Comolli to make a point.

Didn’t he try to force him and Mbangula out for a total of 25 mil ? Now he sold the latter for 10 mil - which leaves his valuation of Weah at 15 mil…. So why don’t accept the 15 mil now ?

I'm pretty sure we will. Not sure why we're dragging our heels though.

Am I the only one who doesn’t want to sell him?

Unless something great comes in ofc
decent squad player level guy who shouldn't be starting for juventus but is a starter for jj

true for the majority of our squad. i'm fine with keeping him, i'm fine with selling him. if no clear upgrade is available then keep the dude. selling him for peanuts doesn't make sense

⚪️ For Timothy #Weah: #OlympiqueMarseille has sent the exact same offer as #NottinghamForest did to #Juventus.

Loan with an obligation to buy at €14M.

The #Weah camp doesn't understand why Damien #Comolli accepted the #NFFC offer and rejects the #OM one… To be continued.

I don’t think Comolli understands why he did that either

Think I read that we needed a sale before the end of June and were willing to sell him for less but seeing that didn't happen we're sticking to our valuation of 20m.
It's pretty simple, like that. For anyone willing to understand that is.

Now let's hope this deal gets done asap. We need to get moving.

Another other club would get double for what Weah and The Count are being sold for.

Not even in 2006 was this club so weak
Not very realistic for Weah, considering what he has shown so far. PSG sold him to Lille for 10m; Lille sold him to us for 10.3m; now we are selling him for a similar amount (10-15m). He is not improving and he keeps getting sold for roughly the same price.
He is exactly what one would expect from a 10-15m euro bench player, so I guess it's up to the team to decide if it wants plusvalenza or a 10m euro bench player. It looks like we went for the plusvalenza.
