If Tiago has a good world cup, our new manager wants him to come back, and Tiago himself is eager to work with the new manager and who ever else we sign...I would be happy to see him given another chance.
If all those requirements fail to appear together, he should be sold. The last I read of him is that he is happy in Madrid, with the fans and the football. Taking the place of a first team regular not long after the start of his loan, then making it HIS position.
He is obviously a decent player. As he has shown in England, France and Spain. the question is is italian football simply the worst medium for his talents to shine? or has it been the Juventus football club that has worked against him in some way...?
under ranieri, the season before last, we were still on a buzz of returning to serie A and finishing the first season back up high in the table. Our oldies were still flying, especially DP and Nedved. Chiellini was also developing into a King. However, Camo was dying, Zanetti was not fit enough to give us a solid fulcrum, and tiago was played out of position more often than not...this season, when he played, he did not seem like our worst midfielder, yet he was maligned again.
maybe too much water has gone under the bridge now, and its best to sell him to madrid, then have momo maul him when we play them in the future...
