What is this? a curse or some shit?
Those douches played like half dead brainless monkeys for us!?
Well I guess we're too big for mediocre players.
Once they're off Juve's prestige/pressure they can outshine themselves almost anywhere else.
Good riddance.
He played for Chelsea which was at the time one of the most highlighted clubs in world football, and he did well.

Get off the pedestal.

It's obvious that Ranieri ruined Tiago. Hopefully his good form will continue in Madrid so that there won't be any doubt -- Ranieri is a ruinous asshole.

Best of luck to Tiago, a proven good player.
I hope so too, then we can sell Tiago to them. And how Moli performance in Stuttgart, i read that he get first start game for Stuttgart last week?

:agree: Tiago is ruined by Ranieri. And Almiron also ruined

I've been reading some spanish newspapers and they said he did pretty good. The only one who said he didn't that great was El Mundo: "También salió de inicio Tiago, (...)y sólo hizo dos cosas: un gol y muchas faltas."/ It also appeared Tiago (...) and only did two things: one goal and a lot of fouls). El Pais said he had a great ball control; which As also underlined that aspect of Tiago game.
It's worth to say that it seems Atletico played really bad; actually they said it was a miracle that only ended 1-1

So, good for him, bad for us.

Tiago played pretty good actually (better than all of he's performances with us) no suprise there, Scored a goal and linked the play pretty well.

Atletico's team as a whole was shit and Tiago was the best player in their team.

Tiago Mendes: I Want To Stay At Atletico Madrid

The Portuguese is thoroughly enjoying his stint in Madrid...

Portuguese midfielder Tiago Mendes, who moved on loan from Juventus in a winter transfer to Atletico de Madrid, has expressed his desire to stay at the Spanish club after the end of the season, prompting the Rojiblancos to exercise the Portuguese's option to buy the holding midfielder for €8 million.

"I want to stay here. We will see if Juve and Atletico have a lot to talk about, but I would like it," said the Portuguese in comments reported by Marca.

In his opening matches with Los Colchoneros, Tiago has earned a place in the Quique Sanchez Flores' starting XI. "It is nice to feel that the coach has confidence in me and it helps me play with more calm. I am very happy. I came here to play and to help Atletico and I am well."

Tiago also expressed his ambitions for his team and despite their standing in 12th place, believes they can be one teams of the best in Europe. "We can be at the top. We aim to reach the Copa del Rey final and we are almost there. After that, we have a lot of Liga left and we need to finish in a Europa League spot, at the very least.

Tiago also expressed that he and the team were happy with the 1-1 draw earned yesterday against Racing Santander and recognised that "it was not an easy match after the 4-0 Copa win here. It was a match in a difficult environment and we are happy for having earned a point."

Asked to comment on the polemic issue of referees, Tiago was dismissive. "This seems to be a popular theme right now because Barcelona and Madrid are always competing, but football is a lot more than such problems. I want to talk about football and don't wish to go there."

No more than the agreed fee we set at the start of his loan. I just hope he performs well enough to secure his place in Madrid, then hopefully he will be crap again (I do like him as a player, but don't really want him to do very good at a club directly after leaving).

He's performing well from what i've seen so far at atletico (definately better than he's performance here). Whether they will buy him or not thats something else...

How the hell can you swap a player like Tiago for the hottest commodity on the market? We can't just trade without offering millions to supplement the cost of Aguero
