In all fairness , Tiago has been given many chances to prove himself and continues to disappoint . I had high hopes for him but he didn't turn out to be the player we all expected , Ranieri obviously has no faith in him , he's rather play salihmidzic as DM than play Tiago .

He could have been useful as a nedved replacement but he's too slow to play on the wings . I guess he just doesn't fit in to Juve no matter what way you look at it . Personally , I like Nocerino - Zanetti partership if we had to play a 4-4-2 formation each game .

I don't like Sissoko , he is very overrated for someone who has spent most of his professional career on the bench . Taking in Liverpool's trash isn't Juve's style .
I'd sell Tiago , Almiron , and hell , even birindelli to bring in Javier Mascherano . He's one of the high quality midfielders in Europe and if we want to be a high quality team , we should try and get him instead of Sissoko .

Mascherano is a world class DM.

Our board are only interested in average or below average player.

We overpay an overrated prick (Sissoko) to fund Liverpool's bid of keeping their world class (Mascherano) player.

That's so Inter BTW.

i think a loan deal for tiago isn't so bad,if he plays well,we can call him back, dats if atletico wont offer the price on the agreement..but if he does come back,i think our midfield could be very good, keeping in mind that we sign a worldclass playmaker/central midfielder (Diego/VDV)
Juve can play a 5 midfield, with giovinco and camoranesi on the wings and Tiago,VDV/Diego and Zanetti/Sissoko/Nocerino in the midfield playing wit a lone striker...
at least thats worth a try..

Juventus To Tiago: Tottenham Or The Bench

According to Italian sports daily 'La Gazzetta dello Sport', Juventus have told midfielder Tiago Mendes that if he does not accept the offer from Tottenham Hotspur, he'll be subject to substitute status at the Old Lady until the season's end...

After signing Mohammed Sissoko, the Bianconeri are desperately trying to offload Tiago to Tottenham before the transfer window closes in order to recoup some of the money spent on the Liverpool midfielder.

However, Tiago seems uninterested in joining the English side, and would rather go to Spain, where clubs such as Atletico Madrid have expressed an interest in signing him up.

This has led to the Old Lady's directors apparently issuing an ultimatum to the player: if he ends up refusing the Spusr offer made by Tottenham, then he will have to sit on the bench for the remainder of the season as he will unlikely find space in the first eleven.

The Tottentham directors are currently in Italy to watch the inauguration of the Torneo di Viareggio. There they will meet up with Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli in what will probably be the last opportunity for them to sign the player before the end of this transfer window.

With the European Championships around the corner, Tiago might have to reluctantly accept the idea of joining Tottenham in order to have the chance to impress the Portuguese national coaching staff.
